    I wanted to leave a review amongst all of the negatives. Yes this surgery is very busy, if you have to call it's a long wait but this is because there are too many people/patients in the area registered at the surgery. The problems I've encountered seem to be out of the control of the surgery, however the doctors, nurses and reception staff have always been very helpful. When I have seriously needed to see someone, I'm usually seeing or speaking to a doctor same day that the e-consult is answered. Despite how busy they obviously are, I wouldn't change surgeries because they have been he most respectful and helpful team that I've come across in my life.

    40 minutes on call finally get to 2nd in queue to be cut off the call by the surgery ! cant use e-consult for nurse appointment ? ! and practice manage telephone line is not in use ???????

    I am sorry your call was cut off but assure you that reception staff most certainly do not do this. Unfortunately, although it is rare, very occasionally we can suffer technical glitches with our systems and the best way to alert us to this matter, is to report the date, time and number you phoned from so that we can get our system supplier to look into this. eConsult is for GP appointments only so you do not need to use this for a nurse appointment. The best way to contact me, the practice manager, is by email to the main practice email address, outlining the reason for you contact and then I can contact you directly as soon as I am able, or can direct the query to someone better placed to answer it within the practice and avoid any delays, especially where you may need help with medication or other clinical matters.     Lengthy waits for appointments, several attempts at getting E consults answered, queued today outside for 25 minutes to try and check in for appointment 15 people in queue and one person on desk! Then to be greeted with a doctor who had not personable skills whatsoever talking to my seriously ill father!!!

    I am sorry that the queues were so long when you attended, unfortunately a lot of the queues have been caused by the issues surrounding opening hours at the next door pharmacy. Unfortunately demand for services is extremely high at present and there have been some delays in helping patients via eConsult. You have contacted the practice directly regarding the consultation you and your father attended, which is the best way to highlight the issues raised and we are responding privately to you regarding this matter.
