    I called early recently as had been struggling to inhale following influenza. I was called back late in the day and asked "can you be at the surgery in 15minutes" As I was unwell in bed and live 20mins away I said I couldnt. The doctor replied " well I offered" and then hung up on me!! To be honest I was shocked at such discourtesy and lack of understanding.

    I phoned to get an appointment for my 13 year old son, who is struggling to walk. Firstly the receptionist didn't seem interested, and then when she said someone will call you back as I'm not booking appointments , we have no face to face appointments , I mean, it was 8.15 am! I wanted an appointment after 4pm for a minor! I said I won't have access to my phone after 10am, as I have to work, and we aren't allowed our phones. Her reply was we all have to work and I have children too. I'll put preferably before 10am, but cannot guarantee, then hung up the phone on me. Yes she put my back up, but that's because of her attitude early on in the call. Think she needs to learn some compassion and how to speak to patients on a phone. I call last night and was told they couldn't book in advance to call at 8am to galet an appointment Seems odd that whenever we call there is always 2 doctors off sick. In other words they cannot get the staff. Can never see the same Dr either. Something needs to be done.

    Very difficult to contact the practice, when calling on the telephone waiting for well over 10 minutes, sometimes getting cut off in the telephone queue. Then one is unable to make an appointment because they are only booking appointments on the day for emergencies and they have none left. They are not taking any future appointments, so if you have something more chronic, like suspected symptoms of cancer, a rash, inflammation, a hernia, something like this that may be gradually causing silent damage, you end up leaving it for longer as you are really busy at 8am getting children ready for school, commuting, you simply do not have the time to hold for half an hour on the phone. This is not working for busy working people with families who need to see a doctor.

    Current system is not patient friendly. I have waited weeks for a telephone consult, Dr tries to ring mobile despite my notes saying to use landline (I live in a not spot). Takes half an hour to get through on the phone to try and get this appointment I have waited 8 weeks for to happen. Every time I have to contact the practice I have to allow half a day at home without making a noise so I can hear the phone! I need an appointment at an allotted time and date. There appears to be no way to make a complaint to the Practice Manager on line and no means of contact direct. I do not like to receive calls about personal health matters in a public space. I give up!!!!

    Called and spoke with receptionist on two occasions. Very polite and efficient. Got call back from doctor within the hour in both cases. Very thorough with complete explanation of everything we discussed. Just brilliant
