  1. Review titled Poor care

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have tried to book a telephony appointment today (04/09/24) regarding amount of medication I do receive from my gp. Due to sometimes I get flare-ups, I do require to take more tablets than while my condition is in remission. I gave the same brief info while making the request for the appointment. Instead of receiving a call from doctor so I will be able to explain in details about why I'm taking more tablets during flare-ups and this is recommended by consultant. I have received a text message instead saying that, if I have flare-ups, I need to speak to my consultant! Is it that difficult to listen and give someone an opportunity to explain themselves? Is this a luxury? I'm very disappointed with the value and the care I have been given by this gp.

  2. Review titled Awful service

Rated 1 star out of 5

An appointment was made 26th May 2024 for a face to face on 10th June. This was subsequently changed 4 times by the centre from a faace to face to telephone back to a face to face. Finally I was assured of a telephone appointment on 3rd September just 4 months later. I then receive a text, which I am unable to reply to to say this has been changed to 4th September for a face to face. I requested a call back but not to phone between 11.30 and 1.30 yet they chose to phone me at 11.40. The staff do not listen, do not read or follow instructions. Hopeless.

The Dr's are 1st class if you can either speak to them on the phone or makes an appointment for a face to face meeting. I needed to talk to a health care worker who only works part time and a phone appointment for a morning call was not available on one of her 3days for almost a month!

  5. Review titled Various

From cancelled appointments to getting much agreed its a frustrating place to deal with for the most easy going person. Be kind and polite works both ways and getting called "my love" "darling" and "sweetheart" all in the same sentence seems a little excessive and patronising.
