  1. Review titled Control of bood pressure

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 07 August 2024

I was due to have an injection in my eye on 26/7/2024. Due to high blood pressure this was not possible and was suggested I see a doctor about it. I went to the surgery and spoke to the most rude and arrogant receptionist who would not refer me for an appointment unless I could prove I was worthy. I explained to her, sometimes not using nice language that I could go blind in my right eye unless I could control my blood pressure. The receptionist would not move. This is not a good omen if the receptionist can decide if someone continues to be able to see. Sack this person and hire someone who cares for the patient because she doesn't.

  2. Review titled Good service

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I normally struggle to get hold of someone at this surgery but when I eventually convinced someone to contact me the service was professional and excellent. Getting in touch with someone is extremely poor and needs sorting out

  3. Review titled Amazing professional team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Lesley Baker - Posted on 01 May 2024

We joined this practice after having years of awful practice in the last doctors which is a group. Upon joining every nurse, doctor, receptionist has been so lovely. I've only met two doctors and both of them are exemplary in there bedside manner. There was no rushing to get you out of the door, listened to what I said whilst there, it's just so refreshing nowadays. A friend of mine said that a particular doctor was her mums GP and said how lovely he is and she wasn't wrong. The receptionist actually are all lovely and quite often share a joke either on the phone or in person. Well done everyone and thankyou which I can't put in capitals but it's not allowed on the review!

  4. Review titled Everyones a critic

Rated 5 stars out of 5

People these days seem to be more than happy to take the time to complain about things. Unfortunately not many of us like to give praise when praise is due. With regards to St Neots surgery , my experience from booking in at reception with the friendly ladies to dealing with the very professional doctors. My illness was a sensitive one and I was never at any point made to feel embarrassed or uncomfortable. Thanks to the whole team for your services.

  6. Review titled No Continuity of Care - Almost Impossible to See Your Doctor

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 30 November 2023

This surgery is appalling. It is virtually impossible to see your own doctor. It is extremely difficult to get in touch on the phone and you have to listen to a very long message that has not been updated since 2021 and goes on about covid restrictions. You cannot make a request via the surgery website after 11am as they say they are too busy and remove the facility. You get frequent text messages saying not to contact the surgery unless urgent due to staff shortages. If you do manage to have an interaction with the surgery (reception will try & get you to make an appointment with a Push Doctor) it will almost certainly be with a doctor you have not seen about your medical condition before and you will have to explain your entire medical history to them again and what tests you have had. I have had 2 trips to A and E in the last year - one with blue lights by ambulance which I feel could have been avoided if if there had been continuity of care. If you do manage to get in to the surgery you will probably find yourself the only person there apart from surgery staff (why pay for a building if patients are mostly only seen by phone or push doctor) If you are looking to register with a doctor don't choose St.Neots Surgery.

Rated 1 star out of 5

Had a bad rash on my face since June 2022. Had push doctor appointments but they really can’t diagnose what it is. It’s very bad now. So for over a year I’ve not been able to see a doctor face to face. I’m now in process of finding another surgery. Shame as I’ve been with st neots for 34 yrs
