Receptionist was extremely helpful. Dr rang me back within 10 minutes. He went thro the process with me and was reassuring I was nervous ringing the practice as hardly ever go to doctors but was reassured and they were so helpful

I received my letter from the NHS for my routine smear. Called the gp practice just before 1pm on a Thursday and was offered an appointment that afternoon I was unable to accept it so was offered the following day at 12:30. Attended, test done and back home before 1pm. The surgery always go above and beyond and I have been a patient for roughly 14 years. Every time is such a brilliant experience, reception team amazing, nurses amazing and the GPs. Keep doing the amazing work you do! Thank you

Most reviews of GP practices speak of receptionists - the one in this surgery is a delight to interact with, helpful, knowledgeable, cheerful, goes out of her way to assist. And has a great accent. Highly recommended. As for the doctors I deal with a doctor that is covering for another one that is on the maternity leave - I do hope that they will keep her afterwards, as she is brilliant as a doctor. She follows up with consultants to make sure that no stone is left unturned. It just gives me confidence that I am in good hands.

Firstly I messed up and turned up at the surgery for a phone appointment- the receptionist quickly changed it to face to face - I was seen by the pharmacist who was truly lovely. I felt like she listened, understood and didn’t dismiss me - she amended some medication and made a face to face doctors appointment to discuss other issues that had come up. I didn’t feel rushed at all - if this is the way forwards then I absolutely applaud it - I was skeptical having a medication review with anyone other than a doctor but this absolutely proved to me that others can give an equal service and refer onwards if necessary. Thank you

I have been a patient for almost 7 years and my family and I have always had a good experience. I was seen today after visiting the practice in person late in the afternoon with an acute eye issue. I was expecting to be asked to make an appointment but I was seen straightaway for which I am very grateful. Thank you to the reception and medical team.

This practice manages its appointments very well. You can usually be seen in a very fair timescale. The doctors , nurses and non-clinical staff are good. The clinicians always explain and discuss issues and treatments fully and carefully. I am very pleased to be a patient.

Me and my partner were extremely impressed with the service that was provided by the nurse performing the smear test. She was very welcoming and made the situation feel calm and supportive. I phoned yesterday in a panic about some severe side-effects from the medication I had recently started. The lovely lady on reception took me very seriously and passed me into the phone called triage system. I didn’t expect a phone call for many hours as she did explain that the surgery was very busy but within 15 minutes, I had a doctor phoning me, I am so incredibly pleased and grateful for their support, their empathy and their speed…. I was having a very bad day with my medical issue , the understanding and kindness of the receptionist and the advice from the doctor who helped me with my medication was absolutely outstanding… thank you as always Springfield surgery… your always there when I need you

I called Friday morning as had a cough for over 3 weeks, I had visited in mid June but it was still lingering around. I received a call back from a GP within an hour or so, I was working and offered an appointment for Saturday morning! Visited, I was listened to prescribed antibiotics and has my prescription by 12. Springfield staff reception, nurses and drs always go above and beyond. Highly recommend them to everyone. Thank you again!

Contacted surgery today with regard to ordering current HRT medication that required my GP’s authorisation. Lovely, polite and helpful receptionist advised to message her via Patient Access, which I did, and received a telephone call the same afternoon, where my GP was as supportive as ever. Both my son and I have received fantastic healthcare since moving to this surgery two years ago. Thank you, all at Springfield Surgery.
