Unfortunately there are a few things to comment on. I find the receptionist is rude and fractious every time I call up. One of the doctors attempted to put my mom on steroids when she didn’t need them as they misdiagnosed her having stage 2 kidney disease when she had healthy kidneys. They’ve not shared data with my new gp at the time I needed to find out about my tetanus injections. I did not know if I had an in date tetanus. Even though they have an email stating this circumstance, my request for my data, explanation of how i have moved gp - they called me and the nurse booked me in for an appointment. The practice has waited until the day of the appointment to send me a cancellation by text. In my opinion this is an awful, stress inducing practice which looks for any way to avoid providing assistance. In my opinion it feels like the practice doesn’t care what happens to you, and your mental health has to suffer before you can secure an appointment and get the help you need

Had a few appointments recently and all staff treated me with genuine kindness and understanding each time I went. I really felt everyone was listening carefully to my concerns and the follow-ups and referrals were completed efficiently and appropriately. I was always clearly informed of what the next step in treatment would involve and what I needed to do. Thank you everyone at Springhill Medical Centre for your hard work.

I rarely use the doctors but have been trying for an appointment every day for 2weeks. If you hold to speak to a receptionist after the recorded message you are told to try again tomorrow. If you are lucky enough to get in the queue at 8am and and don’t get the “surgery is full today” message, you can wait to be phoned back by the receptionist only to be told by her “the surgery is full, please try tomorrow “ For some illogical reason they are still advertising for new patients on their website

After 3 weeks of trying to get an appointment over the telephone I tried going to the surgery in person. The whole surgery is locked up for 1 hour at lunch. I drove to Parkleys surgery, spent 10 minutes filling a form in to transfer to their practice and was given an appointment for the following day. I can’t understand why a surgery that is unable to accommodate its existing patients is still taking on new patients.

I had an issue and sent in a complaint they came back to me with a call the next day. The lady handled it quickly and efficiently and apologised. the reception and telephone staff are always pleasant and helpful. When I have called they have done as much as within there means to help.

I know doctors surgeries are very busy places. However I have had recent surgery and needed help with my wounds and then I needed immediate access to a doctor. Yes I had to use the outdated phone in the morning procedure. However once I received my call back you could tell how hard they tried to get my issues dealt with. In fact I ended up visiting the surgeries 4 times in a week. I was treated with respect at all times whilst on the phone and during my visits. So all I can say is that when I needed help I got help. Thank you to all involved

Recently contacted my GP for an urgent query. Initial conversation with admin team who advised to send an email with photos to avoid error. Query resolved very quickly. Very thankful for the teams rapid response.

I don’t call very often, but yesterday 7/2/24, I called at 2.00pm I was attended to by a very kind, polite and understanding member of staff. She immediately sent me a link to put some photos of my foot. At 2.40 I was called by a doctor and given an appointment at 4.00. The doctor was excellent and very thorough and helped me understand my problem and prescribed some medication. So by 4.20 I had finished my consultation and left the surgery a happy patient. I just wanted to say thank you for such excellent service.
