Very reassuring and doctors happy to give time to thoroughly discuss problems. Able to have sessions with your own doctor in a reasonable time appointment.

Review titled Not acceptable!!
Rated 1 star out of 5

Last week I attended a Drs appointment for a mole issue and unfortunately got a suspect cancer urgent 2 week referral. Upon not hearing anything back I contacted the medical receptionist to be told it’s only been sent today!! This is totally unacceptable. Whilst I appreciate there was a bank holiday it could of been sent last week or Tuesday . I work for the NHS and regularly see urgent referrals sent the same day. I truly hope they never have to be referred and anxiously wait daily for their appointment!!!! Not acceptable, they are playing with peoples emotions and potentially life!!

Review titled Disappointing

I was reluctant to leave a review has I have always received good service from Clinical staff and Chemist, but feel compelled to because anytime I visit the reception desk I have yet to come across a kind , welcoming receptionist. They are rude, aggressive and unapproachable.

Review titled Once for 10 years
Rated 1 star out of 5

The first time for the past 10 years I needed medical help and unfortunately I was really disappointed. Had low back injury and the only advice I had is to take a paracetamol and a link with exercises are going to be sent on my phone to help myself. What? Paracetamol for low back injury, are you serious? No prescription for any medication(cream, homeopathic medicine), nothing. No even a sick note, that I can cover my absence from work, difficulties to book an emergency appointment. People that is a serious injury. It caused literally immobility and such a reaction from a doctor(physiotherapist) is inappropriate. Shame!

Review titled Amazing doctors and receptionists
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Hafizah Choudhury - Posted on 18 February 2023
Absolutely excellent with each experience. Lately I’ve been calling for several reasons and each time I get a phone call appointment and then a face to face appointment with the GP. They respond to concerns really well, reassure you about your concerns and give you really good advice. I saw 3 different doctors this past few weeks and each one has given the best service. At times we’re all complaining about NHS Spa medical centre honestly has really helped. Other people complaining about their experience in different cities has put things into perspective. Thank you and keep

Puts all your nerves at ease explain everything to you and make sure you understand everything you must do after returning home after surgery. They make sure that you understand that should you have any problems you can always ring them and speak to someone.

Review titled Horrendous Practice and experience there
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 01 March 2023
I have never had so much stress in my life when I was registered here (I am now registered elsewhere due to the complete incompetence and awful reception staff) I am a carer for my extremely ill partner, who on many occasions needed urgent medication - emailed through by consultants to which never got done urgently - I ended up in tears at the desk many times - two of the GP's there were willing to leave my partner without any medication - a medication that he had been on daily for 3 years and withdrawal can be extremely dangerous - despite a letter from his consultant stating he needed them and he could not be without! I was made to feel like a drug dealer! I have worked in the NHS for 21 years and cannot believe how horrendous and stressed I was made to feel! I used to feel sick before calling up due to the reception staff, one of them always used to make a 'nasty' point of stating my name before I had told them who I was - I called up with a kidney infection, terribly ill at mid-day once and was told uncaringly to call 111 - I tried to reason with them that there were open until 6.30 - how can they justify that! They also ignored my very low oestrogen levels back in June 2022! Luckily my new GP surgery (who have been amazing and so supportive) realised this recently and have put me on HRT! I do not know how this surgery are still open for business! My new GP practice are totally amazing and it just goes to show that the issue was never me but them and their horrible attitude! I am a front of house GP receptionist and I pride myself on being the exact opposite of the reception team here - a couple of them used to make me feel physically ill by the lack of caring and total lack of empathy to my extremely difficult situation of being a carer for my partner. Please avoid at all costs!
