Getting an on-day appointment is tricky, you can book either weeks in advance or have to turn up and wait for the doors to open to register first thing because trying to get through on the phone is hard work. The dark haired receptionist is the rudest most unhelpful receptionist I have ever met, honestly if she doesn't like her job she should leave because it is clear she doesn't enjoy it and customer service obviously isn't her forte! She is not helpful, clear or concise then snaps at you when you question anything and it makes patients feel very uncomfortable and often in front of an audience waiting to register first thing too. The doctors and nurses are great but I have recently had the experience where the doctor was so busy they couldn't 'understand' the letter from the specialist at the hospital because they didn't have time to digest it so they referred me to them and I now have to wait for 3 months for treatment which I should be able to get from a GP and I'm left struggling with symptoms in the meantime. I also had a physio appointment who said to come back in 4 weeks if no better - went to book the appointment and the physio isn't around until 6 weeks so have to wait longer and in pain and discomfort. This practice tries its very best in challenging circumstances but they aren't helped by not having a joined up team that work together and enjoy helping people. It would be great if the receptionist could have some customer service training, the health practitioners knew when they were going to be around and maybe given some time in between patients to review notes etc (this might mean they need an extra GP every day) and the team communicated with morning meetings or something - maybe with a few extra staff on hand during the busy morning period to deal with patients wanting on the day appointments. Overall the practice is really good and tries so hard, they just miss the mark on occasion. Please keep up the good work and improve a few issues and it'll be brilliant!

Although both Drs and nurses are fantastic, getting appointments is a disgrace, if you think phoning up and are caller number 2 for over 3 hours just to be cut off is bad, after seeing a doctor (for them to ask you to book an appointment to see them again in 2 weeks time to review the new meds they have put you on at reception) to be told by the receptionist they can't do that and you will have to phone for an appointment or come here at 8am, and see if there is a slot available it's a disgrace, when it first opened you were able to get appointments for the following day, or the day after, since being taken over it has gone down hill, to reiterate the doctors and nurses are fantastic....,.,it's just the appointment system that is I am sad to say a total failure!!!

I have had multiple instances (with the same doctor), where they just haven't listened to what I have requested, and I've come away feeling more frustrated than before. Trying to obtain a new prescription (both one-off and repeat) for an increase in medication (which they suggested in the first place), on two separate occasions, where I have been very clear about the two necessary steps, has resulted in me being charged nearly £50 instead of the expected £10. They also spoke about other medications that I could be on, that I had zero background on, and didn't even explain what it was/how it would help, while on the flip side made me feel stupid when they explained why I had to have blood tests with new medication, yet, if they read my history they would see I've been doing this for 3 years already. For someone with high blood pressure, it has certainly been made worse with these encounters!

I have only been registered at this practice for a short while & have had two appointments in March 2024. All the staff are lovely and check in is very easy. Both nurse and doctor I seen are very patient and take their time. Nobody likes going to the GP but this was nothing but an easy visit, they really have your best interests at heart. Would recommend to anybody in the area!

I've try to book an appointment one day on the phone, second day I came 07:50am to gp practice. On both occasions I been turned away with answer we are full. I found it really annoying when you can't go and see consultant. Management should stop taking new patients and look after ones they have. It's all changed to worse when it's gone under new management. If I could give 0* I would. Soon you will end up with no patient s. Management needs replacement.

Imagine been booked for review of my chronic Medical conditions for over 1 month, came for the appointment, waited for 30 mins in the hall, only for them to tell me it's been cancelled. I was supposed to be at work, granted permission. This is absolutely very unprofessional. Same with my son's appointment which has been cancelled thrice. I am extremely worried and inured by these conducts.

I got a message saying one of my repeats need to be reviewed....so I called the surgery & when I got through I was caller number 4 .... in an hour 10 minutes I was caller number 1...... an hour and three quarters later I was cut off !!!

Never answer the phone as can't be bothered..order medication when you get to pharmacy they haven't received anything from the practice and 9 times out 10 there is something missing..no excuse for the service people are receiving or not receiving needs a good management shake up

The ladies on reception were so kind and helpful with regard to helping me access treatment for my elderly housebound mother last week. Yes it took a while to arrange a video call with the Doctor, and then there were hospital transportation issues, but this is no surprise as we all know the NHS is on it's knees, waiting lists are through the roof, and the pressure on all NHS staff is immense. The surgery did their best under difficult circumstances and I'm sure my stressing made their job a lot more difficult! I'm really greatful for everything, thank you.
