    The practice has a system of completing an online form for an appointment at 8am. At 8am when refreshing my phone, still no form. Nothing appears to change at all. End up calling and being on hold for 20 mins. To be told that they did have people send in the form but it closes very quickly. Spoke about my issue and that I need to see a GP to be told I can get a 'hub' call from a doctor in 12 days time. Or go to the walk in centre. I am absolutely appalled at the way of getting appointments here and my teenager wonders why I hardly ever try to contact the dr when she is under the weather. Please avoid this surgery if you can until they can manage to see people in good time.

    SMG has poor communication service and will try everything to delay and not give you appointment. Incase you would like to consult a doctor for a problem, they say it's not urgent and no appointment will be made. When it's critical they ask you to visit urgent care as they are fully booked with the appointments. For any test or prescription they give you incomplete information which leaves you in a state of jeopardy.

    I am someone who will complain when it's justified, so it's only fair to praise when necessary. This week I've spoken to the practice manager and staff who have been exemplary. I cannot remember her name ( but I'm hopeless with names, even when I'm with it!) who sorted out my repeat prescription as I can't access that screen. The practice manager sorted out a mix up with my Lanzoprazole. All in all I've received exemplary service from everyone who works at SMG. Thank you very much.

    I have been with SMG for about 10 plus years, they're fantastic. They listen to you, and never fail to give full details or your situation. Today I was worried an issue, my Doctor listened and gave me correct information about what to except, they're honest and said if this doesn't work due complicated issues, we can try this future etc. I know I'm in good hands. Thank SMG you're all fantastic. I would highly recommend this practice, and I have a few times.

    Since I registered with them I haven’t received any services because they keep avoid to investigate my heath issues. I needed it to pay for an appointment with my private gynaecologist only because they won’t take any action ,even from the easiest request. Even with the pressure of my private gynaecologist, they won’t their jobs. When you are lucky enough to have a call from the doctor, they won’t let the phone ring enough in order to pick up and if you try to call the practice again,the receptionist always find excuses. I had my phone in my hand for all afternoon but I never get the call. It’s really frustrating and disappointing.

    Had a jaydess IUD fitted today and both female staff members were wonderful. Offered reassurance, humour, kept me distracted when necessary. The nurse ensured I was very well informed about the procedure and any risks/complications that could arise before I consented to the fitting. I felt very well cared for. Thank you so much ladies. I really value what you did for me today.

    This practice has a telephone booking system where you are required to call at 8:30am even if it's not an emergency and you only need an appointment to discuss your treatment with a doctor. Almost every time you call, you're kept on the phone for about half an hour only to be told that there are no available appointments remaining for the day. If you try to explain that you do not need an appointment on that day, you're still required to try again the next working day. This morning, I've tried to book an appointment as my daughter has had a fever and cough and I'm a bit worried with all this news about the scarlet fever. When i called, i was caller number, and my wife called at the same time and she was also number 3 in the queue. We persevered until after 36mins and then my wife decided to go to the practice and try to book at reception. She got there, booked the appointment while i was still at position 3 on the call. I am highlighting this now because this is not the first time this is happening and clearly this practice needs to review their booking system.
