    Thanks to all the team at Modality from the initial call to the Doctor himself. Extremely thorough but friendly at the same time. Confidence inspiring in someone who has spoken to far too many doctors. Thanks again! There really is nothing wrong with telephone consultations.

    I put in three enconsults on the same day and all three were dealt with within 24 hours. I had an appointment that afternoon for one, booked an appointment at later date for another and received a telephone review for the third. Really happy with the service. My three queries I had been putting off as I didn't think they were particularly important very glad I got them all dealt with so quickly. Thank you.

    Saw consultant seven days ago dropped his letter off on my way home the receptionist said it would be at my pharmacy in four working days.I purposely left it five but the pharmacy had not received it. Back to the surgery computer said no. After involvement from someone else the letter was found and I was assured the item would be ready the next day. Back to the chemist still no joy.Back to the surgery no apology wait while practice pharmacist reviews. Told via receptionist my prescription would be ready at the chemist at four pm waited until five still no joy on the system but not signed off by doctor so try again tomorrow. This is ridiculous and I still haven't got the medication prescribed.

    I rang yesterday to see if my test results were back and got told they were someone would contact me when they had reviewed them. I heard nothing yesterday and because of my past history with cancer obviously I am worried. I rang back this morning and spoke to the lady who answered the phone you know who you are but I am not allowed to mention a name. The lady said no one had still not looked at them. They had a lot of patients to get through. So be it but don’t write on my notes that you told me the results were not back yet !!!!!!!!

    Thank you so much for the appointment this morning. After filling in the form requesting an appointment I was given one 45 minutes later. The GP that I saw was superb very thorough easy to speak to and very professional .

    After two months of waiting, I finally received a GP appointment last week. But once again, I'm left with more frustrations. I was told by the doctor that I needed a double appointment as my symptoms were too complex for a short appointment. I was told to make this appointment at reception. Reception said I couldn't do that and would have to complete another online form. I did say that I had waited two months to get to this point! They have apparently put it through for me but I have no idea how much longer I'll have to wait to get this appointment. Moreover I received an odd text/email as a result of a previous review on here with incorrect details about my experiences. I tried to reply to this to no avail. This is an impossible system and actually dangerous to leave people for so long without having the right medical care and no assurances that an appointment will be available. Utterly exasperated with this now.

    I have been trying to get a Doctor's appointment and it's now 5 weeks of waiting since my last online request. I have actually been trying for months to get some help with my symptoms. I have chased up by phone this week and no-one could tell me anything other than they have put a note on my request. I am now self diagnosing and self prescribing. What is anyone supposed to do? Continue to put in online requests to no avail and continue to suffer whilst waiting for some help? This isn't a service in any way shape or form.

    How did appointment with physiotherapist and after this I needed a form filling in so I could get private healthcare. I emailed this in one week ago to the email that I was given 10 days later still not had a response. This is easy thing to do all it needs was a signature and return it to my email Not even the courtesy to respond disgusting can’t get through on the phone. Can’t get through on email. How are we supposed to get medical service? These people are Essentially employed by us under the state and are giving us a terrible service if this was a shop or a service would any of us actually ever go back? I don’t think so.

  10. Review titled New triage system is useless

    The surgery has switched to a system called Klinik - a Finnish/Dutch triaging system that (worryingly) uses Artificial Intelligence to direct patients to the correct services (allegedly!). This is supposed to stop the 8am frenzy. I wish someone could explain why this AI form is closed on weekends, evenings and even sometimes during the day. I rang up at 3pm on a Friday to be told the Klinik form was shut for the day. The request was not urgent, but I now have to ring back and wait in the inevitable queue to speak to the same person I spoke to on Friday. Why can't routine requests be submitted at any time? Why couldn't my request be submitted on the Friday for attention during the next week? Klinik claims it streamlines services, but in reality everything seems to have to be done multiple times to obtain the desired result. Every completed Klinik form seems to generate a phone call from a GP. It is a waste of time having a GP ring up for the patient to then tell them the exact same information already given on the form and then that GP arranging an appointment with themselves or another GP. GPs are completing the work twice over. I'm sure the old way may have been frustrating for receptionists, but there must be something more patient-friendly than this.
