I would like to thank my GP for their expertise, knowledge and confidently diagnosing my dizzy spell when I attended the Shotfields surgery following a telephone consultation. I had suddenly started feeling dizzy, especially when I was lying down and awaking from sleep. I mentioned this to the Dr and he instantly recognised the symptoms and diagnosed it as a “Loose Crystal in the Ear”it involved a non-surgical manoeuvre of the head to correct the balance to reset it. I was amazed and relieved at how quick and effective this procedure was, as it cured the issue instantly. I have also recommended my elderly neighbour who was dizzy and losing their balance, to mention the possibility of the cause being a “loose crystal in the ear” to their GP. So they could assess if they had the same issue, as it was causing them anxiety. They mentioned it to their GP, who performed the same manoeuvre and it corrected the issue. Thank you for being so caring, educating and curing me and my neighbour, as I can now pass on my knowledge to others.
