Review titled bad service
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Ernesto Marongiu - Posted on 28 June 2024
first of all every time I need to talk to someone on the phone it takes at least 40 minutes. then you have a website that should give speed but every time I order medicines and go to the pharmacy something is always missing and I have to go personally to the medical center to complain sometimes you find fantastic but devious people you find very arrogant people who tell lies to cover their incompetence I recently had a self transplant for cancer and leaving the house to go to the pharmacy and your place puts me at risk of infections but with you I always have to take double the risk because there was once in this year and a half that everything was fine without talking about when they call me because the doctor wants to talk to me and the first thing they ask me is what I can do for you but if you called me you need to improve your services I don't change GP just because I live 2 minutes away on foot I hope you will improve in the future kind regards Ernesto

Dear Mr Maroniu Thank-you for your feedback, we at Sherwood take feedback very serious, first of all can I apologise if it took you some time to get through to us on the telephone, we have been have been having major problems with our phone lines over the past couple of months, you should of received a text message from us recently apologising for the phone issues, we can re-assure you this should be a problem again whilst trying to contact the surgery as we have just last week moved to a new provider. I am sorry you have had some problems recently with your medication request, hopefully this has been resolved now. The last concern you mentioned around the GP, sorry if there has been a misunderstanding there, if you would like to discuss this matter further you can contact me at the surgery and we can talk about this one. I apologise if you haven't received the normal service you expect of us recently but i can re-assure you the phone are now fixed, i have reviewed your medication and the reason for 1 of your medication not being present was due to you needing a review of that certain medication, if you would like this medication aligned with your other medications to prevent this happening again, please contact the surgery and ask the reception team to book you for a medication review with our clinical pharmacist. if you would like to discuss anything further please don't hesitate to contact me at the surgery. Review titled Used to be great now a disaster

This gp practice used to be the best going at a time, Unfortunately now they don't even answer the phone i was sitting in the surgery when i tried calling they were talking and laughing and yet the phone line was saying we are very busy we will try our best to answer, the current requirements of standards have dropped by 90% me and my family member tried calling and 20mins gone still no answer. There should be a major review of this gp practice as this is very bed its one of the reasons why people hate surgeries its not that theyre busy its that they say they busy and yet doing nothing and not answering phone calls most of the doctors are always on holiday i mean how many holidays are you entitled to if every other week the doctors are on holiday and only one doctor running the surgery. It seems so ridiculous i call for a review but i dont know who will take this seriously

Dear Patient Thank-you for your feedback, i only wish you had left your name so we could speak more in detail of the comments above. We take all feedback very seriously and the comments above we would like to discuss further with you. We can confirm that when our regular GP's are on annual leave, we always have the same cover to backfill as to be able to offer the same amount of appointments. There are always a lot of staff in reception area but not all of these are receptionist or take calls it may well be that there were staff talking and laughing in reception area but not necessarily that they are receptionist who are managing the phone lines, we can confirm we have recently had more phone lines installed to try and manage the call demand more efficiently. If you would to discuss your concerns in more detail please don't hesitate to contact the practice, we would be happy to show you our new phone call monitoring system, which shows all calls in the queuing, positions and the average length of call waiting time, which always differs depending on the time of the day. Best wishes Sherwood Rise Management Team
