    This surgery has been through some ups and downs recently, with a big change in the doctors and other staff. My recent experience of the surgery has been largely positive. The reception staff in particupar have been amazing, which is quite rare to see in the last few years. They are hlepful, friendly, and acually want to help, and do not come accross like an obstacle in your way, which is something I have got quite used to in the past.

    I have been trying to call the GP to make appointment since Tuesday this week but till now I have not been allowed to see the GP. I had slipped down the stairs on Saturday morning but felt okay not until Sunday morning I started feeling pain in my waist. I felt it was just the regular pain I feel from the previous fall I had so I decided to wait till Tuesday when the GP will be open as Monday is bank holiday. Ever since the fall on Sunday, the waist pain continuously increased. I started calling the GP at 8:00am on Tuesday morning but the line remained permanently engaged. I continued trying to get an appointment but all to no avail. Not until Thursday, I decided to exceed the expiration of booking appointments time which was 8:30am. It finally went through at 8:45am on Thursday morning, and I was told "no appointment space remaining and I should go to A&E if I cannot wait till Tuesday next week or I call again the next day by 8:00am to see if I can book an appointment." I did call the next day from 8:00am till 8:45am when someone answered me and said "no space again and that I should call back on Wednesday the next week." I am seriously unhappy and I have been with this GP since 2009 and this is the worse experience I have had from the GP. I don't know if the receptionists are the problem because the frustration from them too much.

    called for an appointment for my daughter to be seen (not even 2 yet) was told no appointments and if i was that concerned go to A & E. No wonder the NHS is in crisis. Not the first time this has happened, service is a joke

    Visited the practice recently with my son for immunisations, reception staff were friendly and welcoming, didnt have to wait long for the appointment, lovely practice nurse. I dont normally write reviews but the receptionists seem to take a lot of unnecessary stick from patients but I think they do a wonderful job.

    Spoke to a Receptionist on 19/4 at 12:17. This person kept talking over me to a point where I had to inform her of what she was doing wrong. I couldn’t get an appointment that day which I understood but I was met with a false promise that if I rang at 8am I would be guaranteed an appointment, regardless if there was a queue and they were fully booked up. Clear tactic to just get me off the phone. That receptionist really needs some training in how to speak to people. I asked if the call was recorded, and she said yes. I asked for a gdpr request of this call to which I was told that the practice manager would call me. They have my email and phone number. I didn’t receive any contact. Clear failure in training and competency.

    At the end of February, I went to the clinic for a blood test. The nurse told me that I had to wait 7 days for the results. I called on Monday to find out if my results were in yet. The lady at the reception told me that the results are in but 3 results are still missing. She told me that the results should be in 2-3 days. I informed that I would like to receive a copy of the results. The kind lady receptionist said that I can pick them up at the end of the week. what I wanted to do today. Imagine my surprise when I found out that the results are there but I will not receive a copy because the doctor wants to talk to me about them. However, my results are not in the norm. after which I was informed that I had an appointment booked on March 21. No one even informed me that I had an appointment scheduled. The ladies at the reception began to be very unpleasant when I asked how someone was planning a visit for me without even informing me and not to mention asking if I could at that time. I'm not a very clingy person, but after today I decided that this was too much. In the current age of technology, it is a joke for the clinic not to be able to contact the patient or send confirmations of scheduled visits electronically. The lady, after informing her many times that I am going back to work on Monday and I can't use the phone, and yet I would like to find out what is wrong with my tests, gave me a note confirming my visit. Even after my information that I would prefer to talk to the doctor face to face. I told her that at the time when She planned my visit I would be in the hospital for a consultation, she said that after the visit I should call back and they come up with something. I am really disgusted with the zero approach to the patient and the lack of any possibility to contact the clinic other than by phone. Provided that the ladies working there answer the phone. It's embarrassing that in this age of technology I can't see my own results. and just send them via email. the second thing why we do not receive any information that the results are already there. after all, it only takes a moment to load the results online. we don't live in a time to send pigeons or owls to collect results.

    I spoke to the receptionist on 27/02/23 to make an appointment with the doctor which I was given. I requested for an email to be sent as a confirmation to which I was told " we don't have access to emails" so I said I am very surprised that a Medical centre doesn't have access to emails. The receptionist replied '' we do have access but we just don't send emails. I believe in this modern times if requested by the patient the Medical centre should be able to acknowledge the request which would allow the patient to present it to the employer as a proof of appointment.

    Thank you to practice nurse, always calming and approachable. Had to wait over a week for telephone appointment but was then offered face to face appointment same day and ECG in surgery within 48 hours. Thanks

    Had my review today and wanted to comment and praise the nurse involved, very professional and courteous. Made me feel very comfortable and explained things very well helping to put me at ease. Overall a very positive experience after a couple of bad ones and just wanted to show my appreciation.
