Review titled Very disappointed
Rated 1 star out of 5
by M Khan - Posted on 25 August 2024
On 3 previous occasions consecutively my appointment to have my bloods taken by the nurse were cancelled on the morning an hour before my appointment. I went into the surgery to to find out why my appointments are always getting cancelled, I was told the nurses no longer work for the surgery and it will happen again. I made a new appointment that was 2 weeks away only to be cancelled again, 1hour before my appointment. Very poor service, very disappointed.

Review titled poor care

GP didn’t care to ask any questions about my experience of the medication I was taking for endometriosis, when told it wasn’t proving very effective I was then asked (as a 24 year old woman) if I had tried ibuprofen. Women wait on average 7 years to be diagnosed with endometriosis and then are patronised with questions such as these by ‘professionals’. Will be looking to move GP’s as the service has been consistently abysmal over the last few years.

Review titled Very poor service
Rated 1 star out of 5

The service is terrible. I waited an hour on the phone today to chase up a repeat HRT prescription, and was told that I need a blood pressure test and appointment for each repeat prescription. I have not been told this before and have had repeat prescriptions of the HRT without this. The reception staff member I spoke to was unhelpful and replied 'well, I don't know' to my questions about this. I asked if every patient on HRT had monthly doctor appointments as this seemed unlikely, the reply 'I don't know'. Patients risk being left without medication because of this poor communication. If I had known this I would have booked an appointment in advance. The surgery also says it does not take blood pressure measurements, so it makes no sense that patients are required to have one for each new prescription if they can't get this! I asked about how to get one and was told you can 'do them at home'. The information is utterly confusing and chaotic and as far as I can see, there is no way to clarify what patients should do. Writing here as there's no contact information for the practice manager on the website.
