Roby Medical Centre has been consistently impressive with its level of care and delivery of services. There are always appointments available, all face to face if you want one, and you can even get one the same day most of the time. With the current situation of primary care across the NHS it’s very refreshing to find a practice going the extra mile for its patients to ensure they receive the best care available. I would recommend the practice to anyone looking to join.

I recently had to call the practice to book an appointment after not feeling well over Christmas. I don’t go to the practice often and thankfully I’m a well person. Listening to the media made me believe it was going to be difficult to get an appointment and I was dreading it. It couldn’t be easier I rang the phone was answered after a couple of minutes and I was asked if I wanted face to face or telephone, I asked for face to face and then was then given options for times the same day! I then needed a further appointment a week later and the same thing happened, this time I choice to have an appointment the next day. Amazing service each time and the staff are lovely. Just shows don’t believe the media trust your local practice and believe they are there to help you! The practice has changed a lot since the change in owners but it’s all for the positive!

After a phone call re: my husband who was really feeling u well, he was given an appointment to see the doctor that same morning. She was very concerned about his health and obtained a consultant appointment at local hospital that afternoon. Follow up on him has been quick and efficient. Also, I find that I always get a return can if I have a problem with anything, which is Wonderful, as are all the staff I have dealt with since they took over my existing practice.

I’ve recently joined this practice after reading the reviews and it’s lived up to the reviews. The phone is answered quickly, I’ve had a medical and a doctors appointment and a welcome leaflet. Didn’t get all of that in the years I was with my previous practice. I was even offered a cup of tea because the doctor was running behind at a home visit, who knew doctors still did house calls! I would recommend this practice and would like to say credit where credit is due this practice is working hard and you can always get an appointment and a a service with a smile.

Since the practice has changed hands, the improvement has been astronomical. It is very easy to get an appointment and staff are friendly and helpful.

I recently had to phone Roby Medical Centre for an appointment. I didn't have long to wait in the queuing system and was given an appointment with a specialist nurse that same morning. The whole experience from initial telephone conversation to consulation, a referral, another appointment with a GP a couple of days later were so professional but I also have to say personal which when you are feeling under the weather makes you feel better. I had blood tests at 7.45am and had the results text to me before 7.00pm the same evening! Keep up the good work - we are so lucky to have you.

All the staff are so polite and helpful at getting you booked in at the practice. I was seen for my appointment on time if not earlier and I never felt as if I was being rushed at all and everything I asked was explained to me so well. Would 100% recommend this GP practice to anyone looking to register.

I joined this practice in May 2022 after being unable to get an appointment at my previous practice. Joining was really simple I got an appointment on the same day and a new patient health check. I’ve had several appointments recently some booked in advanced some needed on the day and I have always been seen in person by the doctor. The staff are very polite and professional, thank you for all your hard work and support. I would highly recommend this practice.

I feel as if I have stepped back in time and found a surgery who actually listens and acts on your problems! From the people who take your calls right up to the doctors, nurses and practice manager. They are all so welcoming and whatever service they can offer to get your problems sorted. I really have been so impressed! To be honest I was thinking at the start of 2022 of changing to a surgery closer to home however now I know I would follow them happily to keep the level of care I feel we are now receiving. It was a difficult start for them due to unforseen circumstances but they have tried and managed to keep their patients as informed as possible about what they are doing and what they are aiming for in the near future. Again I really am impressed with their care and honest. Well done to all.
