Have tried to make appointment, after a 1 hour wait on the phone, was advised to use on line service. So the very next day, went on line to book, but service was was closed at 08.02 this morning. Back on the phone, after another hour of waiting, was told to try again tomorrow, not holding much luck this will work. My husband tried a month ago for two weeks, and ended up contacting the practice manager, and then low and behold received a message next day for a appointment booked. When he went down there the waiting room was empty, no one on reception, it took 5 min for someone to come out after seeing him on there camera, didn't look like they were very busy. So can't understand why the online service closes so early in the day? The last time I had problems after a long wait on the phone again, didn't want to see me but ended up in hospital!! I hope this is not going to end up this way again.

Getting an appointment is difficult. I phoned 111 about my overnight sickness and abdominal discomfort. This was at 5.30 am. After clarifying the problem, they made an appointment for me to have a call from the surgery. This followed and I was sent for blood tests the same day. This was to be followed by a further test after a fortnight. A week later the same problems resurfaced. After completing an e-consult, expressing my concern, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a face-to-face appointment. The doctor was endlessly patient and thorough in his explanations, so I went away secure in the knowledge that I knew the likely cause of my problem and what to do about it. You do need to complete the e-consult at 8am, and to separate the immediate medical reasons for contact from other concerns, but my experienced have been that they are a group of highly professional, caring doctors.

Visited the surgery at 5.10 on Thursday to make an appointment. Apparently they're open from 8.00am until 6.00pm..., waiting room was empty and the receptionist eventually spots me on the camera only to tell me she can't make appointments after 5.00. There is a sign on the wall saying they can't make appointments before 9.00 so I ask how I'm meant to make an appointment when I work full-time. She tells me to call (not attend in person) after 8.00am the next day, even though she has no patients in the waiting room and appears to be doing nothing either! The next day my husband spends all morning trying to get through on the phone to make me an appointment, when he finally gets to speak to someone he's told they're not making any more appointments and to call back on Monday! Total shambles, no appointments, no care and should be reported to the GMC. They've closed their online booking system and the E-Consult is impossible to access as they close this off very early, don't think it's because it's busy I just think they can't retain their GPs. In the past the doctors have been great, that is when the guard dogs on reception decide to play God and grant you the great gift of an appointment. I'm desperately trying to find another surgery where the word Service is still part of the NHS.

Every interaction I had with staff today was thoughtful, empathetic and responsive to my needs. The gp that reviewed me made me feel at ease, reassured and was very thorough. I am very grateful. Thank you.

Have been with Roborough surgery all my life over 50 years. Came out of hospital after being seriously ill, only to receive notice to leave the surgery as i was out of the catchment area (By about 200m and have lived at the same address for the past 24 years without a problem). My wife also seriously ill received the same notice a month later. Absolutely no consideration to our health and mental wellbeing. Not a bad thing we are leaving as the service has been declining for a long time and would not recommend them.

Went in for a simple issue. Took over 2 weeks to even get onto the online e-consult. They say it’s open all day from 8am, but regularly closes before 8:20am with no reason. Once I finally got through, I needed to phone them as they had made a mistake with my referral. 87 phone calls later, I was finally able to get through to the surgery. They love texting you (a method that has no ability for you to reply) and on 8 separate occasions I had to phone them up to chase up basic information omitted from the texts. They are obviously more concerned with finding the cheapest, fastest option to get your case ‘closed’ rather than making any attempt to find the cause or even a basic diagnosis. On multiple occasions I was told incorrect information, for them to later retract everything they said, and I was lied to on several occasions (I was only aware as I’d done my own research beforehand - due to knowing how poor the surgery was). All in all, it took over 5.5 weeks to actually get in contact with the GP overseeing my case, and almost 7 weeks to get an actual diagnosis for a straightforward case. I only received my diagnosis once I chased it up (a regular need) as they weren’t planning on telling me the outcome of my recent scan. Terrible all around service, from the receptionists, nurse practitioners and the GP.

Virtually impossible to get through to book an appointment with no options available other than to ring at 08:30. I even went to the practice to be told to try ringing in again 'tomorrow morning'. The medical health check was also inadequate as no-one bothered to explain that blood tests can't be done in the afternoon. Waste of everyone's time.

Returned from holiday, calf has red, circular, painful swelling. Concerned for DVT. Having spent the day trying to speak to reception to be told to try again tomorrow after explaining the concerns. When asked what happens if we can’t get through tomorrow she replies to try the next day. This isn’t the first time either. Could list endless examples. Non urgent appointments where in the past we are happy to wait a couple of weeks take precedence for that day. Only option is to go to the ED just in case as pharmacists won’t commit. They wonder why the ED is full.

Getting an appointment is a nightmare, I have called each morning for a week to try and get an appointment to no avail. The receptionist says just call again, How are patients meant to be seen!

Have a teenager unable to play sport for 5 weeks, in pain. Already seen GP, referred to Sports Physio. Referred back to GP because condition worsening. Phoned surgery 51 times before getting through. Call back promised that never materialised. Text message promised that never came. Called again 14 times only to be answered and phoned dropped. Called twice more and finally get through only to be put on hold for further 12.34 mins. I have phone evidence for all of this. Finally get an out of hours appointment in 6 days time whilst teenager continues to live in pain.
