    I have attempted to contact the surgery several times and i have been left on hold or in a que for over 1 hour. The excuse was they were busy, however other surgeries manage to answer the phone promptly.

    Good morning, thank you for taking the time to visit this page and leave a review. General Practice continues to remain under pressure and therefore I would acknowledge that we are very busy, however this is not an excuse this is a factual statement. I would be very interested to explore your frustrations further as we have been monitoring our incoming calls very closely and the average wait time is between 2 and 8 minutes depending on the time of day. We are always extremely busy in a morning and we also find Mondays and Fridays are our busiest days. I am quite sure all other surgeries in Bassetlaw are facing the same issues in respect of call volumes and I would interested to discuss your findings with you.     The Dr gave me verbal reassurance and a print out copy summary of my recent consultation with a specialist. I had three other topics that I wanted to discuss, (some arising before COVID 19) we managed to cover them all to my satisfaction and fairly quickly, even giving time to a minor procedure "while I waited", rather than having to make another appointment. Very pleased! On the way out I raised a couple of questions with the receptionist, who also responded quickly and efficiently. Such a good experience it deserves sharing. Thank you.

    Called in to Gringley surgery at 1pm, receptionist triaged me and I had a text requesting photographs within 15 minutes. I took a couple of pictures which I sent immediately, Dr A called me within 10 minutes of receiving pictures with a diagnosis and has organised tablets and a blood test. Excellent service and very quick. Thank you very much to all involved. Great service.

    I have been suffering from severe post Covid symptoms for nearly 4 months and managed to obtain a same day appointment today, first on the phone and then in person. I have seen LP several times previously and on every occasion, I have been impressed. She is extremely personable yet remains to consummate professional. She is knowledgeable, confident, decisive and pragmatic. Yet again, I have left the surgery, confident with her diagnosis which, sadly is not always the case with other health care professionals within this practice. Quite simply, LP is delightful and Riverside Surgeries are made significantly better for having her in the team!

    Called into the surgery in person at 8.15am, receptionist helpful, added my daughter's name to the triage list. I received a triage call around 10am and then had a face to face appointment at 11.30am that same day. The GP we saw was very kind, caring and took a great deal of time with my daughter. Everyone I dealt with was professional and kind. Thank you for such a fantastic service in such difficult times.

    First day after christmas break we both needed urgent treatment for chest n sinus infection got through to surgery very quickly then a nurse practitioner called back within the hour then by 10am we had our medication cannot thank everyone enough

    I was able to obtain both a telephone consultation and an "in person" consultation on the same day that I rang the practice. All the staff I spoke with were excellent. The Doctor was extremely thorough and considerate and was careful to explain clearly what he proposed to do and why. He ensured that I had every opportunity to ask questions and reassured me about my concerns. He explained what the next steps would be and was patient and thoughtful throughout. Overall, an excellent experience.
