Doctors are not good at communicating. I put orders for prescription regarding my daughters formula as she has an allergy, but make it so difficult. Never send a prescription for the pharmacy to order and get told to order when 2 tins left but I can’t have any cause I’m not allowed until a certain date. But the pharmacy is great

My family moved to this GP practice having struggled with the care we received in our last one and I’m so glad that we did - this is the best GP practice we’ve ever been at by far. They are so organised and accommodating, with us being seen on the same day when need be and being able to conveniently choose our own date/time online for things for things that are less urgent. Everyone we’ve seen/spoken to has been so compassionate and knowledgeable, listening to us and giving us what feels like truly holistic care. To know that we have kind and supportive GPs to lean on whilst we have a young family is such a relief this in itself has improved our wellbeing. Thank you!

Can't get an appointment . Told to fill a triage report in online and will get back to you within 2 working days . They don't, still waiting 6 days later. They tell you , you can't order repeat medication cause you need a review, but you can't get an appointment for a review. Try ringing up to speak to someone your 12th in the queue. Gave up after an hour of being on the phone. Also you pay for a letter and they don't even contact you to let you know it's ready and then lie about ringing you to let you know it's ready.Used to be a really good practise but it's now joined the ranks of all the other failing doctors in the NHS.

I have had need to use Ridgacre House Surgery's online triage system three times since December 2023 and have been amazed at the prompt and efficient response each time. In December I was concerned about the increasing symptoms of my heart condition and received a call back within two minutes and was offered an appointment to see a doctor, who referred me to my cardiac consultant. The second time was to ask for a change in my repeat prescription. Twenty minutes later I received a message saying it had been done. And finally, last week I asked to see a doctor about my hernia which was getting worse and had a call back within five minutes offering me an appointment, where the doctor gave me advice and referred me to the QE. I have found the online system very efficient and effective and it certainly beats the eight o'clock madness we had previously.

Receptionist accurately diagnosed an emergency respiratory problem and called a doctor down to see me immediately. Doctor examined me and along with another doctor gave me emergency treatment and followed with a prescription to take home. Staff very attentive and reassuring throughout procedure, other staff kept checking I was ok when doctors needed to leave the room. Excellent teamwork. Thank you for your very prompt actions and care.

I was phoned by the practice within a short time offering me an appointment to my request for an appointment using the new new online app . This was both helpful and reassuring. My appointment with the doctor was also helpful and reassuring . And I have been signposted to further appropriate services. Thank you very much . I t is much appreciated when you feel so grotty and concluded in such a professional and timely manner

I have to congratulate the Quinton surgery on the new on line appointment system I used for the first time this week. I completed the on line form which I found extremely easy to complete and sent it off as instructed with the knowledge it may be up to 72 hrs before a reply. However just 20 minutes later I received a call from the surgery offering me an appointment with a doctor the next day or an appointment with a doctor of my choice the following day. I gave the receptionist my choice and today I had a successful face to face appointment with the doctor. Well done to Quinton Ridgeacre Surgery staff and thank you.

My review on the arts and crafts and healthy Lifestyles course is really good and relaxing even though it's not all of the painting I take part in but the colouring I really do love doing it as it relaxes me, I do really thank the Health and Wellbeing Coach you just never stop ✋️ you are always trying to find something to match everyone character and you understand everyone and can offer advise if needed. Everyone enjoys this craft and wellbeing group and Healthy Lifestyles and really is a God send to everyone myself including. I have met new people and formed new friendships which I am enjoying 😉. Thanks to the Health and Wellbeing Coach you are the best. Keep up the hard work 🫶🏽

I tryed to get a appointment with the doctor for over to weeks to get a not fit for work note I never got one and was sanctioned has a result even thou I had extreme illness

Our phone lines are often very busy at the start of the day but do please keep trying if you don't get through initially. Our phone lines open at 8am Monday to Friday.
