  2. Review titled Absolutely disgusted.

Rated 1 star out of 5

My son was prescribed neocate on Friday. This formula came in a tub of 400g which would only last my son 3 days. So I then on Monday sent an email at 3am requesting an urgent prescription for his formula. I also rang in once the surgery had opened just to make sure they had picked up on the email as I knew his milk would run out mid day which I explained to them. I can’t fit the full ordeal I went through in the amount of characters that are given but long story short after numerous phone calls and even going down to the pharmacy and surgery a number of times on the same day I still did not get what was meant to be an urgent prescription. This is not paracetamol or a plaster I’m asking for it’s the milk my 5 month old lives off. By 6pm which is closing time the prescription was still not at the pharmacy and I had to therefore feed my child formula he was allergic to to get him to stop crying out of hunger. I also forgot to mention how rude the receptionist was and didn’t even bother to acknowledge the distress I was in of having a starving baby and not having the formula to feed him. In fact she said in the exact words “the doctors with a patient, would u like it if I barged in while u were in there with ur son”. How ridiculous when that was not what I was asking. I was spoken to like I was a pest and was stupid for asking for the prescription to be rushed considering my son hadn’t had his milk in over 4 hours.

  3. Review titled Not Helpful

Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have been informed that I can only have one month's supply of tablets because I have not had a blood test. The reason for me not having a blood test recently is because there are no appointments till mid April at my nominated Saturday appointments. Now you might say why do you not go in the week I work so I opted for Saturday appointments. So the surgery is now not giving me my normal 3 months supply of tablets.

Dear Patient, Regular blood tests are required in order to monitor your medication. These test are important as your medication may need to be altered dependent on the results. When blood tests are overdue, medication is reduced to a month supply in case there are any medication changes. I can only apologise if your medication has been reduced without any prior warning. In order for me to look into this further and provide a resolution, please can you kindly contact me on 01772 501070? Yours faithfully, Lauren Keenan Assistant Practice Manager

  4. Review titled Kind and considerate support

Rated 5 stars out of 5

My husband has recently been diagnosed with Cancer and a few days after notifying our GP Practice, he unexpectedly received a letter from the surgery kindly informing him of what support and help they can offer. This was very reassuring and welcomed. Everyone at the Surgery is pleasant, helpful and professional at all times. It’s comforting to know that his diagnosis has been acknowledged and noted. Thank you for your continuing help and support, it is much appreciated.
