    I used to really rate this practice but it's dreadful. I ring for an appointment you ring and ring from 8am then when you finally get through twenty minutes later every appointment is gone. I rang today at 2pm. It took twenty minutes for someone to answer it's 9 march and earliest she can offer me is 28march. It's absolutely ridiculous that they're still trying to get new patients they can't cope with the ones they have. I'm really ill I need to see a doctor. The receptionists don't care either.

    Despite being a very busy surgery I always find the Reception staff polite, welcoming and helpful. Phone calls are answered promptly and there is often a choice of telephone or face to face appointments. The GPs are kind and compassionate. I feel supported and that my concerns are listened to and understood. The surgery is undergoing changes as it merges with other local practices but I’m confident it will continue to be a professional, forward thinking practice.

    My local medical centre has merged with this one. I went there in November for the first time and the receptionist was really rude to me. When I talk to the same person on the phone, they have a similar unfriendly manner (I am very unlucky to have the same person!). Getting an appointment at the centre is so hard. You have to wait at least two weeks and if you need a blood test etc., you have to wait for at least another week. Alongside these difficulties, the unfriendly receptionist is not very helpful. I understand that they work under pressure but believe me we all do! That's why I find it harder to deal with such a manner. The doctors and nurses are great though!
