Review titled Great service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Liz Rayner - Posted on 15 October 2024
I sent an online message last week seeking blood tests. I received a call back from an extremely helpful nurse practitioner in no time at all and my blood test was booked same day with a young lady who had a lovely manner. Friendly male receptionist. Results available following morning. Could not have received a better service. Thank you

Review titled Computer says no!
Rated 1 star out of 5
by lisa hudson - Posted on 29 May 2024
The lack of humanity, compassion & common sense is apparently the way forward for this GP practice. Having attempted to simply have a prescription provided for my mother (who is registered here & known to the Dr's), whilst being heavily medicated on opiates is not possible unless I am able to sit in a queue between 8 & 10am & be lucky enough to get through & be further lucky enough to be approved for a telephone conversation with a 'Dr' who will highly likely be happy to prescribe the drugs. I find it deeply disturbing that patient care & wellbeing is not a priority & dissapointing that the reception staff that i spoke with was more like an extension of a computer who is unable to think independently or with any level of common sense. Following the 'our policy is,,,,,,' & the subsequent refusal to help me, I called 111 as instructed. A day later & mum is still without a prescription for anti-sickness medication to counteract the opiates she is prescribed. My experienced, since being here at Reepham surgery is that this GP service is not interested in healing, establishing the cause or promoting a healthy lifestyle with any advice on diet, nutrition, lifestyle, etc for my mother or my family but merely to provide pharmaceutical drugs, whatever the problem!

Review titled Excellent service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Jon Gwynn - Posted on 12 December 2023
My family has used Reepham Surgery for many years and my wife and I continue to do so. It has always been an excellent service that continues to this day despite all the challenges faced by NHS services due to the lack of priority given by central government to public primary health care. We know we have been very lucky to live in the catchment area for this GP practice.

Review titled Can’t contact
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 24 July 2023
Dreadful service , telephone system leads you to an answer phone ( when it’s working ) can’t speak to anyone . Online system asks silly questions and then closes your query down and refers you to the walk in centre or 111 ! Absolutely awful that you can’t speak to a person and book an appointment

Thank you very much for your feedback. I am sorry to learn that you have had issues contacting the surgery. I can assure you that we have a team of call handlers that answer the telephones all day. In addition to this we have a number of systems that are there to support patients with access in ways that best suit them. Not every system suits everybody and we appreciate for some people they prefer to speak to a receptionist. If you wish to speak to a receptionist you should select option 4. If you are struggling to speak to a receptionist on option 4 can I please ask that you email us on nwicb.reephamandaylshammedicalpractice@nhs.net so we can understand what the issue is as you should be able to get through to speak to somebody during core opening hours. In relation to the 'silly questions' online these are pre-determined questions so feedback on this would be very welcome so we can go back to the system suppliers to ask them to review. Can I please ask you to email to us what you consider are questions that need reviewing so that we can get this looked at. I look forward to hearing from you and thank you again for taking the time to raise your concerns. Wendy Dicks, Practice Manager
