Review titled This Medical Centre needs to be shutdown
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 27 November 2023
Been trying for over a week just to get results for my xray I had in relation to a possible cancerous lump, they tell you to call at 8am but when you do all you get is line busy and by time you get through they tell you that there are no appointments left. The receptionist are clueless and rude and need to quit the profession and not work with people because they have no customer service at all, let alone manners. NHS needs to look into this medical centre because its had the same continue and reoccurring reviews from a considerable amount of patients and which could eventually result in something that could negatively affect someone health due to the poor service and incompetent reception staff. 0star- shut this place down or get rid of the receptionists.

Review titled You can never get an appointment
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I have been calling at 8am for the past week for my son to get an appointment. I have even begged for an appointment any day they can offer but no they can't even do that. What is the point of having a surgery where you cannot book an appointment no matter how many days you call up at 8am.

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your difficulty booking appointments and would like to apologise on behalf of the practice for the difficulties you had with this. We are always reviewing our access and implementing changes to try to improve access to appointments. Sadly, we have found that if we prebook many of our GP appointments, this has a detrimental impact on our access. This is because the more prebooked appointments we have, the fewer same day appointments are available for the large number of people who call daily asking for an appointment on the same day. We also find that when appointments are prebooked the number of patients who do not come to these prebooked appointments is very high, which in turn also reduces access to appointments. Please contact us at 0121 203 0666 so that we may speak with you and address any concerns. Regards Nighat Rashid HR & Administrative Services Manager
