  1. Review titled Exceptional care at every visit

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Ayesha Sheikh - Posted on 28 August 2024

I recently had the opportunity to experience the exceptional care provided by this GP surgery, and I am compelled to share my experience. Following my diagnosis of diabetes, the need for knee surgery, and the ongoing care for my son with specific needs, the surgery has consistently demonstrated a high standard of care, empathy, and efficiency. When I was diagnosed with diabetes, I was naturally concerned about managing this new health condition. The practice was incredibly responsive, arranging for immediate consultations, blood tests, and regular follow-ups. The diabetic care team provided clear guidance, ensuring that I felt informed and supported throughout the process. They made it a priority to accommodate my appointments swiftly, often on the same day, which was crucial in helping me manage my condition without added stress. Simultaneously, I was facing issues with my knee that eventually required surgery. The surgery's coordination in this regard was nothing short of outstanding. They efficiently managed the referral process. The advanced technology they use for managing appointments and accessing medical records played a vital role in keeping everything on track. A particularly significant aspect of my experience at this surgery has been the care and attention they have provided for my son, who has specific needs. The surgery has always prioritised his needs, understanding the urgency and importance of his care. Whether it was managing his regular check-ups, handling important medical documents, or providing prompt responses to any concerns, the team’s dedication has been unwavering. The head of the practice has been instrumental in providing personalised, empathetic support throughout these experiences. His approach to care goes beyond just treating the symptoms; he takes the time to understand the broader impact on my life and my family’s well-being. This holistic approach has been particularly evident in how he supported me through the challenges of managing diabetes, preparing for knee surgery, and ensuring that my son’s needs were always a priority. The reception staff have been efficient in handling the logistics of scheduling appointments and conveying necessary information. The clinical staff truly shine. The nurses, in particular, have provided care that is both expert and compassionate, enhancing the overall experience at the surgery. In conclusion, my experiences with this GP surgery, from managing my diabetes and coordinating knee surgery to prioritising my son’s specific needs, have been exemplary. The practice has created an environment where efficiency, advanced technology, and personalised care come together to deliver outstanding healthcare. The head of the practice’s empathetic leadership has made a profound difference in how we’ve navigated these health challenges. I wholeheartedly recommend this surgery to anyone seeking comprehensive and compassionate care for themselves and their loved ones.

  4. Review titled Wonderful doctor’s surgery

Rated 5 stars out of 5

by Linda - Posted on 04 April 2024

I’ve been registered with Queen’s Road medical practice for many years and cannot recommend it highly enough. It was easy and efficient to make an appointment for this blood test. The doctor’s are fabulous and the staff very friendly. The fact they now do blood tests is great. It is a fast and efficient service with results in a few days. I was able to talk through my results with a doctor and see my results in the NHS app which was incredibly useful. I had some good advice from the doctor whicj I will follow. So much of what the practice does is now online making it easier for me. Thank you!

  7. Review titled Bad registration practice

Rated 3 stars out of 5

Dear customers, today 09/01/2023 i have tried to register to Queens Road Medical Center.I am old fashioned and prefer to do everything by my self on place. When arrived on place in the medical center I have ask how to register with them. Them answer was that I can do that online. I tried to explain them that i want to do this there not online, but they was repeating the same things, and literally pushing me to do this online. They even thold me to asc some one to hlep me wit the registration. I have explayn that the proces is not mision inposible for me jus I whant to do it on the old fasion way. I get really disappointed of that I don't have a choice to do what I want on the way I want... They don't let me a right to do it!!! Where is your right to choose? the only way you have is not to be served or to do it in the only way they want!!! I don't like to do appointments online, sometimes is easier but most of the time you don't know how to answer on the questions that the sistem asking, they are not exact, or missing at all, or if I know what hapeen wit my body why I need the GP practis I can register my self straite to the specialist!!! One more time i want to have my choice, if I want to do it there or online, the other way is not correct for me, my rights like a human are broken down!!!

My appointment was book @9, due to traffic I called surgery that i will be few minutes late so when I called I was in the queue on number 3, when I was on number 2 after few minutes call dropped then I called again, again I was on number 3 and when receptionist answered my call she said you are late she wasn’t listening to me, then I said to her You are not listening to me, I just want to advise can you please train the new receptionist how to talk to patients. There is one more point I want to raise can you please please fix your phone lines because my husband called surgery to book an appointment for our daughter, he was in the queue number 4 when someone picked up the phone they couldn’t hear him but we could hear them and when I called for my self same happened so please fix your phone lines.

  9. Review titled not a great practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

The problem with this practice is there is no continuity of care. There seems to be a pattern as the doctor's are always changing and the most experienced doctors always leave the practice including dr Ali and dr eslami. Seems like this surgery needs to try harder to keep these doctors

  10. Review titled Good doctors but doesn't feel safe

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I visited for a flu jab and am concerned that, with Covid cases rising again, not a single member of staff or any other patients were wearing masks. This is the most basic public health measure so it is disappointing the practice are not requiring them.
