    No announcements about changes to services. They no longer accept Sharp's boxes when they used to so leave patients without a safe disposal of sharps. Avoid if you have a medical condition

    Literally every time I try and call for my children for either an appointment or prescription I’m on hold for 30 minutes at a time and always get cut off. I have to drive down there and their excuse is either there phone lines are busy or the phone lines are down. It’s been like this for going on 2 years now something has to change

    Rang this morning as Inusilin pen stopped working and cause very high blood sugars over the last couple of days. Promised a call from a GP this morning due to the problem with what pen. No call and when I tried calling later afternoon. 45 minutes and no answer from the surgery so gave up on the call. They just don't care and can't be bothered.

    So the saga continues from my previous E-mail which was recieved/acknowledged on th 14th of December. on the doctors recommendation I was asked to make an appointment to have an ecg done at the centre, so ask at the reception to which I got the rather blunt answer the the machine was broken, great does anything at this practise work? Another patient in the waiting room said ask them to refer me to Thurrock Hospital, well if the lady on the desk could not be bothered to be as helpful to say this, I will wait and ask again in a couple of days. When I was requested to see the practise nurse for a blood pressure check, she did not have the correct size cuff (adult) so I ended up using the one usually situated in the waiting room.

    There is one receptionist in particular who is always incredibly rude. Never lets you talk and is very quick to give out advice that she is not qualified to administer. I notice no one ever reads the reviews which means it is not taken seriously. I think it’s time to contact the local MP. The reviews on Google and on the NHS site give me reason to believe that everyone is having the same horrendous experience.

    Having major problems in contacting surgery. Staff not answering phone and have been left on hold and have often given up because I couldn't hold any longer. Need to request a repeat prescription but spent ages trying to sort out review of one item and when I have got through they are not interested in trying to help. Will run out of a prescription item before I will be able to get it prescribed due to the current hold up as cannot get the time off work to go to the surgery to get this resolved. I could end up in serious medical problems unless this is resolved. Approx 3 weeks and still not help. As no number given on who would call I was unaware of a unknown number calling as I don't receive calls from the number so had been blocked previously as thought it was a spam call. Trying to resolve another call but cannot get through to the GP as usual.

    Again, as I struggle to call the surgery I have had to wait to visit the surgery to discuss a diabetic review. Only dates available are dates I cannot make and need to have a prescription item reviewed but need another appointment for that to be done and have to wait 10 days for a telephone call on the review. Just hope I can stretch out the blood test strips to last until the prescription is sent and available for collection from the pharmacy.

    Once again on hold as I type this, after it actually connected and got this far. The phone would have the auto answer 'Welcome to Purfleet care center' then hang up. I can see the practise from my front door but my mobility is not great at times of Gout flare ups. Trying to get a medication revue before I run out of medication. The phone system is constantley faulty so I can sympathise with the receptionists who suffer the brunt of peoples frustrtions. Oh and a proper lick of paint would not got amiss as it looks like someone has tried to do this and it looks terrible. P.s thats now 50 minutes of being on hold

  9. Review titled poor telephone service

    Every time I call the doctors, I get approximately hold music for anything between 30-60 minutes, the line then rings, it continues to ring and ring and ring.......and then it just cuts you off.......after waiting for up to an hour. No hold service, no message service, just cuts you off.
