I will deliver this feedback personally, the receptionist at Poverest that I have experienced in my almost 15 - 20 yrs at this surgery have been short of impeccable. Today I was met with the most shocking attitude. Most people call on their worst day or having the worst experience and today was this for me. I was polite and this receptionist would just not let me get a word in to explain why I have called or seek the help I so needed. She was dismissive and rude. Now I know bad days can be had but the way at which she was so short with me like I was stupid or my query was irrelevant was just terrible. I am highly annoyed by this and has left me a little lost on what to do next with my query

Thank you for your email regarding your absence, the absence of the doctor we are refering to and a further doctor you've mentioned who is also absent. I'm away from the 15th of June for four months. I'm letting you know this in that the context of my original complaint and action against the surgery is being further exacerbated due to a more recent failure by surgery staff to adequately supply me with much needed meds or even a prescription copy that I might present whilst abroad in order to obtain them. I have called in to collect the document today only to find it incorrectly notated. Also, I had recently made a request for a supply of meds some two weeks ago and now as my departure draws closer I've been asked today to email the surgery although a supply of meds is doubtful as it "relies upon individual doctors decisions and would be for 2 months only". Having checked with NHS guidelines I find this to be incorrect. You will notice that I was prescribed some meds further back but these were in replacement of a previous prescription that had been lost by me. If it is in your good judgement to intervene in this matter so as to correct it I'd be grateful. Regards Patient 24/03/1964

Every time I try to get an appointment or see a doctor all I get is no appointments available and I then have a consultation with the rottweiler on reception who seems to think she is a doctor and wants to know exactly what the problem is no matter how personal it is, which as I understand should be discussed in the privacy of a consulting room and not in the reception in front of all and sundry.Even if you had to call an ambulance the night before and they recommend that you see your gp as a matter of urgency you are met with indifference and a no appointments available reply

I have been with Poverest all my life and now I’m leaving because the staff on reception are rubbish and don’t know what they’re doing. I was told I had an appointment and when I arrived I was told I didn’t have an appointment by the same person who told me I did have an appointment over the phone. I have to get 2 buses to get there and can not afford to waste my money on my oster card. I am very disappointed because I have very bad mental health issues and this appointment was very important and now I have to wait until I am registered with my new doctor. This should not of happened and it affected my disability’s a lot

Never able to speak to or see a GP, when you do finally ever get through you are refered to write your own report and symptoms on there website, where it gets reviewed within 24hrs. I ended up taking my daughter to minor injuries where she was seen and cared for correctly. Waste of there time when you are registered to a GP. The month before I wanted to see GP for myself and was told to report via website. I did not receive any call just a text to say a prescription was at pharmacy. I wanted to discuss options with my GP for something and was just given a prescription. Blood tests, that have been requested to be carried out are being cancelled on multiple occasions. Not good practice a waste of time even being open or registered there.

I phone the other day asking for appointment to see my doctor and the lady said my doctors book would be open the next day ring back at 8 then when I rang the receptionist said I wish people wouldn’t tell patients this there is nothing till November.This is awful .

You can never get an appointment when you need it, reception tell you to call first thing when they open and by the time you speak to someone there are no appointments left. Blood test results take weeks to come back and appointment times run over by nearly an hour everytime I have been. Would not recommend.

Since I join this practice, me and my partner have had a very good experience, our doctor is amazing, the reception very kind, thank you all for your help.
