    It took quite a long time to get this appointment, over a week, to have a lump examined. However when I saw the Dr I was listened to, examined carefully & felt look after. I was sorry to hear that the good Dr would only be on the community till December.

    Yesterday I tried to contact the surgery via Klinik online, and it was not available. I tried again today,nut still not available!

    I noticed on your website that this practice is accepting new patients - believe me, they cannot look after the ones they have got. It took 3 weeks from submitting their Klinik for to actually get an appointment and that was a reminder for an review I should have had in June! I'm still waiting for an appointment to explain a significant medical diagnosis, made in March, but I was never told about it. However, I've recently read a review on Google from a holiday maker who was seen by a doctor in this practice within 24 hours! What does that say for the care provided to their registered patients.

    This practice is absolutely awful. The Klinik form is an absolute joke. From my experience it was only available half of the day, it only worked half of the time (kept having technical issues) and seems like it is just an excuse to not have to take phone calls. It isn’t fit for purpose. Let alone for older people or people with learning difficulties who can’t or struggle to fill out the form, but who don’t necessarily feel comfortable having to go through all of their symptoms with a receptionist (no disrespect but they are not doctors!!). The response time is awful, you should be able to pick up the phone and speak to someone and straight away be scheduled an appointment (not necessarily the same day). You shouldn’t have to wait 4-8 weeks for an appointment which is was I have to wait. The reception staff can be extremely rude and unhelpful. The Dr appointments are very rushed, in my last appointment I could see they were desperately trying to get me out of the door as soon as possible. The whole practice is just run poorly. They need more doctors, more administrators, get rid of whoever is managing the practice and calling the shots, and get rid of the Klinik form! You can see everyone who works there is overworked and stressed.

    I need to see a doctor. I asked at the surgery for an appointment but was told I should apply on line. I am 79 and have no idea how to do that. The only other choice, the assistant would fill in a form at the desk. Other people were queuing and would have been able to hear. I just walked out of the surgery. What ever happen to confidentiality?

    I was pleasantly surprised on 26th March when I called the surgery at approx 2pm, feeling very unwell with suspected UTI. The receptionist who answered my call was very helpful (Klinik was not available online) She had to go through the Klinik questions but was very sympathetic and asked me to bring a sample to padstow surgery. This I did leaving it with receptionist at approximately 3pm. At 4.45pm I had a call from a doctor confirming UTI and saying I could come to the surgery to collect prescription. I was very grateful for the speedy response to my request.

    I have attended the surgery 3 times in the last 2 months and have been treated very well. The Doctor I saw was very thorough and although I had never seen him before he took great care of me and I left feeling much better than when I arrived.

    As you are not able to call the surgery anymore, I submitted a Klinic request on 25/01/24 for a sick note. When I chased this today (Jan 31st) I have been told it is being processed and will be “put to a doctor” on the 8th Feb. A full two weeks before a doctor will even look at my sick note request. The stress this surgery causes its patients is criminal.

    Rang to get test results. On first occasion cut off having reached 3rd in the queue. Rang again and after reaching 3rd in queue was again cut off. Then rang to speak to reception and after 20 minutes (& 8th in the queue from the outset) finally gave up. The entire process took well over one hour with no result. Tried the online service and that was again closed. It would be hard to find a less competent service.

    Been battling a sinus infection since August, in major pain and discomfort get told by the brain surgeon on reception it's not urgent almost jog on and get on with it the place is a disgrace should be closed down,.
