    I filled in the Patches form and was called by a doctor the following day who prescribed something for me that sorted out the issue

    I was advised that I needed a review regarding my antidepressants. An appointment time was given to me but when the call came through, they asked me what I needed help with. How on earth can this happen? Absolutely ridiculous. They had not checked my records and knew nothing about me, but seemed happy to continue prescribing. What a waste of everyone’s time. If your procedure is to check a patient and their drugs, this should done by someone competent. I found the whole process difficult and frustrating. The delay in release of my usual medication and having a call from someone who didn’t know why she was calling me.

    She the Dr yesterday after long term stomach issues which I have attended A&E about. She was patient, kind and very through and is finally pushing for more tests. She made me feel at complete ease and made me feel like she was taking my illness serious.

    Overall, great experience. Practitioner listened and took into consideration my concerns with treatment options. Proposed a positive way ahead and arranged a speedy follow up appointment.

    I booked an appointment to review my heart monitor results following a stroke. Around 2 minutes into the consultation I was told by the Dr that she was not cardio trained and that she would send me the results for me to look! Funnily enough I’m not cardio trained either!!! I feel really let down as funnily enough I’d like to hear the results of my heart monitor results to see if there are any further problems with my heart! It’s is nothing short of a disgrace that this person was instructed to call me when the appointment was all about cardio. Unfortunately this isn’t the first time I have been dissatisfied with Patford house during this difficult time as previously I was offered a blood test 2 weeks after when I rang to book, and during another phone consultation after describing my symptoms of vision loss and my optician deceiving the fact my eyes were in perfect order, I was advised to take migralive and rest. This actually turned out to be a stroke!!! I really do think that Patford house surgeries have to have a long hard look at themselves as I dread to think what implications these poor services could have meant for me!

    I was booked a same day appointment for my migraines as I’m pregnant. Dr c was my doctor at beversbrook medical centre. He was so understanding and empathetic and knowledgable. Would recommend anyone to beversbrook.
