    My appointment was made at very short notice &dealt with everything that I needed to clarify. I wasn’t rushed, I felt that the Dr really listened to me & my questions were answered. I felt reassured that very careful consideration was given to my problem.

    I was pleased with the call from the asthma clinic nurse. It was bang on time and easy to arrange. She was polite, listened and answered all the questions. My only concern is that I’m still waiting for spirometry and it’s not possible to get an idea of a date due to staffing issues. Though that’s understandable it’s a concern that patient healthcare cannot then be catered for. Perhaps GP surgeries could network or call in support when these vital diagnostic tests cannot be provided because of staff shortages.

    I recently had a medication review by telephone with a pharmacist. This I found to be rather helpful, as I had had a change to my medication which was causing me some problems. We had a useful discussion and were able to agree to revert back to my previous medication. I also learned some helpful tips on how and when to take the medication in order to avoid any issues.
