    I wasn’t a big ‘fan’ of the new system, but completely understand the necessity of it. My initial doubts were confirmed when I tried to get an appointment using the system on my mobile phone. I went through the triage questions on 4 different occasions and towards the very end, was taken back to the start of the process. My fourth attempt actually failed because the surgery closed ( 5.30). So, I was frustrated ( and unwell)but started the process again yesterday and on the advice of my son, used my laptop. This worked perfectly and I received a telephone appointment shortly afterwards. I have been a Patient at Parkside for many years and my mother was one of your Receptionists. As a family we have always received excellent care. There have been times of frustration recently, but on the whole, the good service continues. My only advice would be, use a laptop to book an appointment…the system seems to prefer it. I know the days of seeing your ‘favourite’Dr are gone, but once you manage to get an appointment, the service and good care continues.

    Dear Katie Many thanks for your feedback. I am sorry that you experienced some difficulty submitting a Klinik request using your mobile phone. I will pass your comments on to the software team. Looking at the data, 68% of patients submit their Klinik requests using their mobile phone, so hopefully your problem was a one-off. I am pleased that you received a phone call shortly afterwards. With regard to seeing a particular doctor, we are keen that patients receive as much continuity as possible, so please request a named doctor in your future Klinik cases and we will do our best to accommodate you.     Used this for the first time yesterday afternoon. I was contacted by phone the following morning at 8am for a short consultation (3mins) and my prescription was ready for collection 30 mins later. Very impressed and will be using Klinik from now on.

    I was very impressed by the speed and efficiency of the practice in dealing with my problem. The GP I spoke to was professional and well informed and I had confidence in her treatment plan. Don’t believe everything you read in the papers about poor GP service! Thank you

    Even though it’s a really busy practice you can get an appointment when you need it and the doctors and reception staff are really helpful. They offer you either telephone or face to face which is great. You can feel how busy and stretched they are but they are always polite and practical so I find it all really efficient. My old surgery was painful to deal with so this is a welcome change for our family. Thanks to the Parkside team
