The Phlebotomist was extremely nice and I was in and out in a few minutes. She read through my notes and explained some things to me. A special mention to Heidi.

Our family had a very positive experience with this practice, all the way from the very helpful receptionist and the Dr. D (the review won't let me leave the name!) who saw my son. He had a very good manner with both my boys, and the child he saw left feeling positive and relaxed. Thank you all. Thank you to you all.

I saw the doctor today for a painkilling knee injection. It was a double appointment but the doctor had no time to discuss anything with me. He was very abrupt and uncaring. He was loathe to answer any questions about my recent test advising me very abruptly that I didn’t have osteo arthritis. If I hadn’t asked I would not have been told. This information is life changing to me. He could tell I was concerned but there was no compassion. I can’t wait to change doctors, the reception and phone staff and nurses are fantastic by the way.

I telephoned the surgery this morning and was told I was 13 th in the queue but if I wanted the surgery to ring me back I wouldn’t lose my place in the queue. I was delighted that this service has been introduced as it meant I didn’t have to sit and listen to the same messages again and again. I was called back quite quickly and was given an appointment within the hour. Amazing service, thank you.

I have been a Patient of Looe Surgery for a good number of years , I presently suffer from Asthma , and some other odd and sods , I here constantly from my others how bad there surgeries are how they are treated how the front staff our rude etc etc how long it takes to get an appointment to see a doctor , , I have got to say what a great place Looe surgery is, The main front staff helped me with an appointment after i had just seen the doctor , if the staff did not help me have a blood test on that day i would have had to make another appointment which would have meant that i would need to take more time off from work , all sort out by the front team and nurse brilliant, medical nurses doctors , are simply the best , I am always treated with care and compassion, lot of times I work away in London and the team are always helping with timings and dates to suit me As to attend the surgery , The Care is second to none thank you Team Looe, Kind Regards Perrie Smith

Woke up with a problem, ( had discovered a small lump on a testicle, if you must know) and phoned the surgery, around 9am, and waited in a queue for around 10 minutes. Pretty good. Explained the problem and told a doctor would call back. Two minutes later one did and I filled him in with the details. An appointment was made for 11.45 that day where the doctor proceeded to put my mind at rest whilst organising further research. So, within three hours of discovering the problem I had been seen by a doctor, reassured and referred to the relevant specialist. First rate. In my experience over the last eighteen months this was not exceptional. It was the norm. Well done!

Appointments with a GP are limited however my latest experience and follow up with nurse were exceptional.

We have recently moved to the area and are very pleased with the service from our new GP. My appointment was well handled and I was treated by practice nurses and GPs with understanding and professionalism. Thank you.

I phoned in the morning as I had been in pain for some time. I was given an appointment at 9.40,and sorted out there and then! With all the pressures that general practice is under what with austerity and brexit (both of which were self inflicted), I am so happy that the original spirit of the NHS is still alive in looe!
