Review titled Making an appointment is painful
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 04 July 2023
Making an appointment is painful and frustrating. Their receptionists act as impenetrable gatekeepers to the actual service provided by this surgery. They force you to ring up at 8am just to ask to speak to your own GP, and the receptionists are generally rude, unhelpful and are usually extremely short with you. The GPs, nurses and pharmacists are very nice though... if you can ever get through to speak to them. Why can't I just book an appointment using some kind of online booking tool at any time of the day, why must it be on the phone at the crack of dawn at 8am, when generally the phone lines are busy and it's hard to get through. Really poor service.

Review titled Poor service and bad staff
Rated 1 star out of 5

Phoned up this afternoon (22/02/2023) to book an appointment about my back as I fell down the stairs 2 weeks ago and think I’ve done something to my back, to the receptionist telling me that it’s not an emergency and that I don’t need an appointment even though she’s not a doctor. I will be using balance street from now on. Never going back to this place, not unless they sort their staff out. The doctors need to stop hiding and actually need to speak to their patients.
