Review titled Very Informative Service
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Anthony Tiani - Posted on 06 November 2024
The information given to me about my Health issues is very informative and most questions I raise about my Illness, Diagnosis plus Health Condition are answered appropriately related to good advice about how I can cope better including the treatments that are available to help me. The Service is friendly, polite, on-time and no stigma is insinuated regarding my Health Problems. My recent experiences have been dealt with quickly and I felt reassured during my appointment whilst feeling unwell. The response to my queries are explained to me in a very professional and they give me valuable advice at the same time as showing respect, dignity and etiquette. The Clinic Service is always prepared to assist me when I most need it, especially in times of crisis. An invaluable Service, Clinic and Practice which keeps in close touch with the local community. Highly recommended. 10/10 Exceptional.

Dear Baba, I am so happy to hear that you were able to achieve an appointment easily and received such good care from our doctor. Albeit we never wish illness on a patient, we are happy that you have left the surgery with an outcome you are happy with. I look forward to passing your comments on to our team. I don’t attend the practice often, but the new doctor was very good in terms of putting the effort tinto trying to find the cause of my problem.

Review titled Great but just don't want to book appointments
Rated 2 stars out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 28 August 2024
Its kinda crazy to experience the inability to able to book a simple consult in 2024. To book an appointment, you have to fill a form with the time you'd like to be called at. But the surgery will call you at random times because you are expected to sit there phone in hand and wait for them to ring you at any moment apparently. God forbid if you were driving or on another call, tough luck you missed it and book again.

Dear patient, Thank you for taking the time to review our services. I'd like to address your comments individually if I may, so that I can clarify our services. Firstly, in order to book an appointment to speak to a clinician, we do offer a digital platform to do so but in no way do we put a barrier on patients booking via a non-digital manner. To this point, over 50% of our appointments are booked via phone calls or visits to the front desk. Regarding the timings of phone calls, our clinicians operate AM and PM clinics and we ask patients to remain available within a time frame that we have found that is manageable for both parties. This is to ensure that there is enough flexibility within those clinics for patients who's needs result in longer appointment times thus making rigid time slots for telephone calls difficult to manage. We do however always give the option of a patient advising of their availability and these notes are passed to the clinicians so that they attempt the call within the designated time frame. Regarding missing a call, all patients are advised via text message that our clinicians will attempt a call at least twice (and not back to back) so that there is the best chance of the appointment going ahead as planned. It is only if a patient misses 2 x calls that we advise they will need to rebook, and again this is done to manage the appointment list as effectively and efficiently as possible. If you would like to discuss any difficulties you have experienced with the above, I would love the opportunity to speak to you directly so we may learn from your experiences or understand why you feel the way you do. Please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience. Dee Turner, Practice Business Manager

Review titled The staff from admin to GPs are great
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mel - Posted on 03 August 2024
I am thoroughly impressed with the care and service I always receive. From the moment I step into the practice, I’m greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The reception staff are friendly, efficient, and made the check-in process smooth and hassle-free. The GPs and nurses are exceptional. They always take time to listen to my concerns and they give me great advise. I am an anxious person so everything I just mentioned makes a huge positive impact on me. I particularly would like to thank the last GP I met when I went there in July. His knowledge and professionalism are admirable. I would like to take this opportunity as well to say thanks for all the hard work each one of you do within the NHS. Kind regards,

Review titled Disgusting treatment by staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Georgia Whateley - Posted on 01 May 2024
I had recently relocated due to a bereavement. I am 25 and my health is deteriorating from stress I had booked in with my GP for a blood test and the practice took me off the books 27 days early and cancelled my urgent blood test. The reception staff spoke disgustingly to me leaving me very emotional during an already awful time. The staff need training in human interaction clearly.

Dear Ms Whateley, I'm so sorry you have had a bad experience with the events surrounding your relocation. I've looked into this and I can see that the practice received a deduction request which occurs when a patient re-registers with a new health care provider. Unfortunately, we have no option other than to accept the deduction and at this time, we are no longer then able to honour pre-booked appointments as your medical records and the right to add to them move to the new provider. I'm happy to discuss this with you if you feel it would be beneficial. I would also appreciate the opportunity to investigate your concerns around the treatment you received from our reception team, as it is not at all in the manner we would expect from our team. Please do feel free to reach out to me directly by calling the surgery at your convenience. In any event, I will be running a thorough audit of your calls to the practice as these are all recorded and if the interaction you mentioned occurred during one of these, please be assured we will be dealing with it with the highest priority. Dee Turner, Practice Business Manager.
