    The standard of care has declined steadily over the last few years to the point getting an appointment or help from the relevant person seems almost impossible. For example the phone lines are closed today, the online reporting system is unavailable and there are no available appointments to book in the next 4 weeks. I managed to get a message in earlier this week but got a reply from the clinical pharmacist that didn’t deal with the problem at all and directed me to contact someone else - which isn’t possible as mentioned above. My last appointment was cancelled on the day without informing me and when I mentioned problems with the callback service to reception was told the don’t bother if they’re busy answering calls. I really feel sorry for the receptionists as they end up taking the blame.

    After noticing a significant change in one breast and a lump, I contacted the surgery to be told there were no appointments available, including out of hours. Advised to ring at 8am the next day, which I did. After 20 minutes wait told there was only one appointment available on a week’s time. I was informed there are doctors off sick. I understand that face to face appointments are few and far between but surely there should be some out of hours available. We are advised to seek immediate medical attention for noticing changed but appointments just aren’t available.

    Telephone consultation very positive and I was able to discuss more than area of health Phlebotomist identified problem and related it directly to the doctor who immediately rang and ordered a prescription
