  1. Review titled Good initiative

Rated 4 stars out of 5

I was very pleasantly surprised when I rang for an emergency appointment at 8am. Rather than having to redial many times to get through, or be placed in a queue, I could request a callback. I did that and was called very soon afterwards. The lady on the phone was so kind, helpful and understanding. Well done!

  2. Review titled Awful practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried to get an appointment for my poorly daughter to only be offered an appointment that I can’t get too as I don’t drive as a pose to the practice I’m registered at? Because of this I was refused care and was told to call back the next day or travel over an hour away to a walk in? The receptionist who I spoke to was awful, very unsympathetic and rude, think these receptionist need to understand without patients they would have no job so have some compassion. Managed to move practices to a better place whom advised me to ring 111 and got me an appointment within the area and my daughter the right treatment that she was refused.

  3. Review titled Really un-caring environment

Rated 1 star out of 5

    by Anthony B - Posted on 13 August 2024

Have an issues with pains in chest so called the doctors to be told zero appointments so they booked me in at another doctors at the weekend. Was found that my heart was beating to early when the doctor did a heart monitor andy bllod pressure was to high. I can feel my heart beating wrong every time it happens. So the doctor arranged for me to go back to middlewich road for another ecg this was done then i was asked by the nurse to book another appointment with reception to see a GP to be told it would take a month to see the doctor and they have no other appointments. She said if you feel its serious you can call every morning at 8am to try and get an appointment. I told them to forget it and i will just go to the hospital to which she just said "okay thats fine" you get made to feel like your a nuisance when you ask for any help from this surgery. So now im on my way to the hospital to get help.

  4. Review titled Poor Service

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Ian Egerton - Posted on 15 July 2024

I called the surgery today over some confusion via the text service for my wife's appointment in the afternoon. The original appointment was arranged as a telephone call which my wife would be able to take at work however yesterday she received a reminder message saying to come to the surgery for 4:15pm. I rang the surgery for my wife just to confirm would it be at the surgery or over the phone to be told they couldn't tell me that information as it had to be my wife that called. I wasn't asking for any confidential information other than where she needed to be but the lady was incredibly unhelpful and said I would have to write to the governors as it's there rule. I will absolutely admit that I ended up hanging up the call as this lady wouldn't let me finish my conversation and that it didn't matter who I was nothing was going to change her decision. I absolutely appreciate that appointments are important to keep, hence the call as we didn't want to miss it and she even told me that there had been some issues with text messages but still couldn't tell me if my wife had one or not and that she needed written evidence not verbal that I can speak to them about my wife's appointment. What's the world coming to if you cannot support your family and ask a basic question. My wife is epileptic and this is a review for this therefore does this mean that when she's having a seizure I can't talk to anyone about it. I'm very annoyed and disappointed as this has been my surgery all my life and I brought my wife and children to them but this has really annoyed me and the conversation has really made me feel not valued and at fault for simply trying to clarify an appointment.

Took a call from unknown person, informed them about a bereavement, kept talking at me no compassion at all no mention sorry for your loss or anything. They just need to tick a box, well patients have needs and you need to listen to them.
