  1. Review titled I felt like a nuisance

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Margaret - Posted on 18 April 2024

Unfriendly, unsmiling and dismissive treatment from one of the receptionists, who did not seem interested in understanding my concerns (although she did look up my records on the computer when I requested it). Her response was that there was nothing about a repeat blood test in my records and that was that - no suggestions or advice, window closed. I must say that another receptionist passing by gave a warm friendly greeting, and also that the doctors are great when you can get to see them.

  2. Review titled Find somewhere else

Rated 1 star out of 5

Tried to explain on here the reasonings for my review but it seems to refuse to let me speak about my experience of this surgery as a gay woman. I would say travel anywhere else but here.

  3. Review titled Dreadful

Absolutely dreadful. Receptionist was rude and asked me no questions at all just told me to phone 111. Called 54 times , never any appointments, never pick up phones. Disgusting!

  4. Review titled Tiring!

Rated 2 stars out of 5

This practice has dreadful reviews on Google and I’m disappointed to say I’m adding to this now. You cannot get an appointment by calling they either hang up when you’re 8th in the queue like today or they’re ‘fully booked’ when you do get through. She said two weeks to speak to my doctor but that might not be face to face. My last appointment was booked by my local area coordinator as I’m disabled and this whole ridiculous rules process can get the better of me. You cannot expect people to wait like this, unacceptable and causing distress to already sick patients. I decided today to leave next month once I have my results. The doctors are very good but nurses are a shambles and lose your bloods not once but twice! and getting an appointment is rare.

  5. Review titled Two calls- different experience

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 17 February 2023

Phoned practice at 8 am,finally got through at 8.50, only to be told there were no appointments left.Extremely frustrating and stressful.Rang again 2 days later, got through after 10 minutes and arranged for GP to call me,which they did at 10.30. After supportive chat,GP offered to examine me that same morning and I saw them in the next 1/2 hour.Very pleased with my second experience.

  6. Review titled Outdated

Rated 1 star out of 5

Can someone from the practice please act as a patient and witness first hand the frustration of long, slow messages leading to awful music, then to be repeated for 20 plus minutes as you go down the queue. After 23 minutes, advised to ring 111 or visit the walk in centre.

  7. Review titled Poor practice

Rated 1 star out of 5

My phoned this morning to arrange an appointment, nothing available of course, due mainly to the fact that there was only one emergency doctor in today, she was advised to go to the pharmacy. It just gets worse, what constitutes an emergency? If you break your leg for example, that's an emergency, you phone an ambulance , it's just dire, and the surgery is taking on new patients!
