    Got a message from GP that my appointment is on 6/8/24 at 12:00 so I reached there before and I said all my details to a lady and she confirmed my appointment and told me have a seat and someone will call you. I was waiting till 1:00pm and nobody called! The lady which had confirmed my appointment called me and asked me again , what is your date of birth? I told her again and she confirmed my name again and she was talking with herself... then she started talking with her colleague which was besid her and I think she mentioned this issue to her that she has forgotten to check me in, in the system !! They took my phone and looked to message about my appointment then she asked me why I'm there for what reason?? I said I don't know the doctor knows that is why I have appointment. As far I know I'm a heart patient I have two stent in my heart and my medication has finished as well so maybe there are some important check up needs to be done, she said you don't have appointment here?? What ?? Then who send this message to me ? She says I don't know!!! Then who knows?? She says I don't know!!! I told her when I come here one hour ago your colleague asked my details and then confirmed my appointment and asked me to have seat there to be called by someone but why and how you say I don't have appointment now after one hour ??? She said go online and book appointment. I said the link you have sent months ago isn't working and there is no appointment she said no there is alot of slots go and book there, whilst she repeated two times that I'm in position 2 for today's appointment but she ignored her words and told me go and here is no appointment. I asked her if something happened in the system any error or something that's ok rebook it for today or tomorrow she refused and said no go and book by that useless link. They were very rude, unprofessional, impolite, illiterate, irresponsible with a very racist behaviour, i can confirm this. I will go ahead to raise an official complaint against them to the ministry of health and all other related departments. It's not that easy to do this with people. Their place is not there. They should stay at home or if they want to work, cleaning is a better job for them. That's appropriate job for them. Customer service/support, in a GP with patients is not easy job. Educated people with kind heart and big patient can do this.

    Contacted Mayfield today on behalf of my daughter, via the online triage and received an instant response requesting some photos to support diagnosis. Once sent I yet again received an extremely prompt response with a suggestion for treatment and a plan of action if this wasn’t successful , once agreed a prescription was sent to the pharmacy which I collected a few hours later. Exceptional service, excellent communication, consultation proportional and suitable to my daughter’s need. I have had to contact the surgery a few times recently and this has been my experience each time. The surgery has made great improvements over the last year or so, keep up the excellent work. Thankyou!

    Thankyou to my Doctor ( and the Scan department for sending them over to GP ) for informing me of my scan results via text 2hours after having the procedure. I was told to call the surgery a week after the scan for my results so was extremely surprised and relieved to receive a text saying all was well . Thankyou

    I normaly have to get to my doctors and post my perscription iv got biopolar and clinical anxsity and persanity disarder its very hard to leave my house with out getting exstreamly axnsioux with than makes meal feal exsteamly angry like flight or fight and this is how i feel every time i have to go do somthing simple like post a prescription so when iv used the link for the first time to day omg its stoped all tht strees and anxs from happing witch would take me a day 2 get over. It is so simple enter your name choose what service u want enter a few details in peacfull inviroment no stress no ques excellent service. Will be getting my perscription this way all the time now. Brillant

    My mum has had some ongoing health concerns which have been dealt with quickly and efficiently. Today I submitted an online form (with her consent) detailing some worries I had with possible diagnoses. Within 5 hours she was seen and assessed by a lovely GP who not only reassured her but took the time out of her day to call me and go through all my concerns. We weren't rushed and were really made to feel listened to and our views considered. I was never expecting such a fast and positive experience given how busy general practice currently is and it is very much appreciated.

    Recently had back problems and within the space of a few months I have been seen by gp referred and seen by physiotherapist and in between this been for mri and now referred urgently for surgical opinion. They have also helped with pain relief and sorted all my requests within a day of filling in the online forms. They have been fantastic.

Our patients are generally offered face to face appointments unless their condition can be dealt with remotely, however the option is always there.     My daughter me at approx 8.15am today. Couple of hours later text received asking when condition first noted. Several hours later text received telling me to consult pharmacist. As I had already done this, this being the advertised thing to do I phoned the surgery and explained I had already done this. When I told the receptionist this and the pharmacy I had used she emphatically stated it would not be my usual pharmacy but a different one. I asked which one but she was not willing to specify. Upon checking the text it definitely states your usual pharmacy of choice, which is across the road from the surgery and where they send my repeat prescription. The pharmacist had given me something to try and ease my discomfort but had also advised I see a doctor. On the off chance after my conversation with the practice I phoned the pharmacist and explained what had occurred, he advised me to see how things were in the second day and if no improvement or any deterioration then seek further medical attention. Presumably that means A and E dept. To say I am unimpressed with this practice is an understatement. I particularly feel the receptionist was economical with the truth of the situation or at best badly, or very ill trained.

    Was able to get triaged on line promptly and get appointment with doctor same day where I received diagnosis and treatment satisfactorily.
