Receptionist & Doctor were outstanding for me when i visited. Been a slight mix up and the receptionist went above and beyond for me. Doctor was lovely and very understanding with me. Always had great experiences with this practice Thankyou xx

  2. Review titled Telephoned for Blood Test

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 05 June 2024

I was told by South Tees Hospital to get regular blood tests with my GP practice due to previous stage 3 cancer and anemia issues long before covid pandemic. However I realise during covid this was not obviously not possible to maintain. It has been over a year now since my last blood test which was done at this practice, today I telephoned and the receptionist or whoever answered the phone was unhelpful and mentioned I now need a letter from my consultant to get one. Does this person know or care what it is like to have had cancer or the worry of it returning. I will now request a blood test at the hospital when I attend in July which only means more work for overworked hospital staff instead of the GP practice doing it

  3. Review titled Great nursing team

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I recently received care from one of the practice nurses and one of the HCA’s who were both undertaking separate screening interventions. I cannot fault the professionalism of both individuals who undertook their role with care and kindness. I felt completely at ease. They are a shining example to the healthcare profession.

Dear Patient I am sorry to hear of the problems you have had in contacting the surgery and can understand your frustration. We did have a queueing system in place however this was removed following several complaints from patients who were charged whilst queing. The only alternative with our current system was to remove the queue so that patients were only charged if they were connected to the surgery. We are hoping to have a new system installed in the near future.

  5. Review titled Horrendous staff

Rated 1 star out of 5

Ok so we all know the pressures that the Nhs are under. Your receptionist needs to have some training and coaching regarding her appalling attitude! We as patients (and human beings) are to and do have the respect when dealing with you This should work both ways!. I don’t call often but when chasing a prescription that for the last 5 days has been “sent to the chemist” only to find that this hasn’t happened due to an error your end, rather than apologise and try to assist I was met by condescending rude and abrupt answers . I know you are busy however on my call do I really need to be told that she has emergencies to deal with to huff and puff and not help out at all I suggest that the practice manager (who was too busy allegedly to take my call as - I was to “stop complaining” ) listens to some calls and has serious words with this particular member of staff I haven’t left my name as I’ve been in this practice over 40 years and was told if I don’t like to to leave! So would rather not be blacklisted When we as patients need to chase a prescription after 5 days we should be helped not berated

I tried phoning today to make an appointment and it is impossible to get through!! Tried the e consult and at the end wouldn't send as it said I need to talk with a doctor today, so tried another 29 times then gave up. I have no confidence in this surgery.
