I've been at this surgery for 20 years and have seen many changes. However, one thing that doesn't change is how the staff behind the desk and the GPs do everything possible to help you, even if they are unable to execute exactly what you'd asked for. The receptionist who has been helping me this last couple of days behaved in a completely professional, yet friendly and approachable way. We solved the issue in a different way that I'd suggested and I was grateful to be guided on the best way to achieve a positive outcome. Sometimes, thanks to funding issues, we can't always get what we want in the way we've asked for, but I've never known this surgery's staff to do anything other than their very best to help you achieve what you need wherever possible and my family have not experienced rudeness on any occasion. Taking the time to balance up the reviews, thanks to my own experience this past couple of days.

My mother was recommended to do a driver assment but due to Licence expining she needed a temporary License to do the test. The surgery did everything to hinder the process, to the end result to blatently refuse to sign the required dept form from the Ndls, despite confirming my mother was fit to do the test in a signed letter on headed paper, the previous day. While discussing the issue the reception simply hung up the phone, as she knew I was in Germany and could not walk in.

Tried to book appointment for 88 yr old father , who has underlying health problems and has had flu like symptoms and a chesty cough for a month. Unable to get through to reception. Rang 111 due to worsening symptoms they requested a GP call back from this surgery. Call back from GP advised nothing we can do its just a cold. Just get on with. Absolutely disgraceful service no appointments and no care available at this surgery, what has happened to our gp surgeries
