    Having been a patient of Hadfield Surgery for many many years with no issues it is disappointing since amalgamation with Manor House Glossop the service has really deteriorated. I have no issues with Nurses or Doctors when treated. First appointment complaint June 2024. I had an infected right foot which kept me awake at night and lack of sleep due to excruciating itching. Phoned surgery, requested to use triage system. Unable to gain appointment, phoned surgery, no appointments within two weeks. Due to my situation I took colour photo of my foot to surgery and requested any doctor to please give me feedback, receptionist booked appointment one week later. Had treatment at Howard St, not Manor House. Doctor excellent. Second appointment dissatisfaction. Managed to gain appointment after one week for hearing referral letter. The nurse explained I needed both ears syringed before a referral letter could be given, but, I would have to use earplugs spray two weeks before acceptance for syringing. Two weeks appointment due on 7 July 2024 at 16.10pm. At 2 hrs before appointment a phone call to state the nurse wasn’t allowed to perform the syringing. New appointment made for 12 July at 16.40pm. Fingers crossed. Efficiency? Bad management? Incompetent staff? I repeat no issues when treated by Nurses and Doctor

    I called the surgery with a request today (afternoon, 04/06/24) which I knew would probably be refused as I am not registered as a patient with them. This, however, was not the problem. In spite of my politeness, I was spoken to in a curt and passive-aggressive manner by the receptionist. Nonetheless, I thanked them at the end, something which was not reciprocated but rather met with the phone being hung up on me. Charming! I'm sure the other staff at this surgery are wonderful, as attested to buy the other glowing reviews here. Unfortunately, the behaviour of the individual who spoke to me over the phone today reflects poorly on the practice. I wholeheartedly support the message of the signs that we see so often by receptions and help desks in NHS buildings - that staff must be respected. Yet it is just as important, I believe, to extend this respect to members of the public. Whoever answered the phone today has sorely let down this surgery. Whoever you are, do better.

    We have been under the Belton surgery since moving into the area two years ago. The entire team here are fantastic from the receptionists to the Doctors through to the pharmacy staff. They are all extremely efficient and always go over and above giving you the time and expertise required to to get you feeling better. A recent health issue I had leading to stenting was all done in under 5 weeks from my initial Doctors consultation…. I wouldn’t have got done any quicker if I went private…… They are all a credit to this surgery as well as our National Health service. Well done all of you, thank you very much for everything you do.

    I rang for telephone appointment today wed 23rd of january to arrange for steroid injection because iam in great pain for the late 3months couldn't get one till Monday which is 5days away receptionist said they not qualified to tell me what the doctor says but qualified to say how long I have to wait for telephone call knowing iam in alot of pain it's not on and I thought I was joining a fabulous practice looks like I was wrong hope I can hold out till Monday+ regards mpickering

    After my husband had a minor op, there was a problem with the hospital prescription, our surgery was very helpful in sorting it out whilst I waited. These days people are quick to complain but rarely praise, I wish to say well done to the team at Belton, surgery and pharmacy, you’re doing a great job.

    Friendly staff, quick and caring response (same day telephone consultations) and the option to see a GP in person. Cannot fault the service or care that this practice provides.

    I can honestly say that this is the best practice I have been to. From the willingness of the reception team to offer help, to the pharmacy, then nurses and doctors. The whole team has an attitude that puts the patient first and they all contribute towards delivering a healthcare solution that’s understandable and suitable. Whilst I have been to good practices in the past, I have never felt so supported by a GP practice as a whole. Thank you and keep up the amazing work.
