Review titled Excellent service from receptionist
Rated 4 stars out of 5
by Teresa Tinker - Posted on 03 May 2024
I spoke to the same receptionist yesterday and today at Mandalay Medical Centre. Couldn’t have asked for a better response to my enquiry. She was empathetic, sounded very caring and compassionate and extremely helpful. She is a credit to the Practice.

Review titled Great experience with reception
Rated 4 stars out of 5

I had a great experience with one of the receptionist ladies at Mandalay Medical Centre. She was highly professional and organised in guiding me through the process of scheduling an appointment with the nurse. Her assistance made the whole process seamless and stress-freE.

Review titled Pleasant Experience
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Mrs Candice Joy Hyde - Posted on 20 July 2023
I ordered my husbands prescription twice by phone through the chemist. Each time I went to pick it up, it had not been ordered. I called the doctors and explained the situation to the lady on the phone who rushed his prescription through the same day. Thank you, it was much appreciated. We are moving out of the area soon, so will unfortunately have to move doctors. But I would definitely recommend this surgery.

Review titled Ringing the practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by C.Hartmann - Posted on 04 May 2023
Well, just rang the practice again and as I was trying to explain to the receptionist why I was calling, she very rudely interrupted me mid sentence and told me to ring Bolton One. I just put the phone down as I'm sick of rude receptionist that won't even let you finish your sentence. As I'm having difficulties traveling to Bolton one, I wanted to speak to someone that might be able to help. I won't be calling again!

Just tried ringing the surgery and was in queue position 2, waited 10 minutes, no answer. Always the same, don't know why I bother.

Review titled Very poor
Rated 1 star out of 5

My elderly housebound mother (suffering from COPD) first requested a home visit for a flu vaccination in September of this year. She was informed that she was on the waiting list, but heard nothing more. After calling again in October and again in November (not to mention the all the calls in which it was impossible to get through to anyone), she was finally told that her appointment for the flu vaccination is on the 17th January (2023)! By this time, the flu season will be in full swing. Absolutely disgusted at this treatment, or rather, lack of treatment.

Due to the high demand of appointments, we were trialling a new system, where patients would get the covid and flu vaccines plus their annual review at the same time. We acknowledge that this hasn't worked, and we will be seeing housebound patients sooner for their vaccines. From next year they will be the first group of patients to get their vaccines. We do hope you have a better experience with us in the future.

trying to ring surgery from last 20 min (17.oct.2022 from 10:05 am till 10 :25)but constantly engage , now tell me how should I contact them to book appointment. previously there was a queue system on phone so you can wait and know that phone will be answered. No way to accept this.
