    I did a e consult at 7.30 this morning, received a call from surgery at 8.45 and given an appointment for 9.40, saw the nurse at 9.40 and been put on a two week referral, wonderful service and the e consult was so easy to do. Many thanks

    I had an awful turn for the worst whilst in the practice, throughout it all the staff were so helpful and made sure I felt safe and comfortable. As I was on my own they let me stay for as long as it took for me to feel better before driving home. I cannot thank them enough for how they handled the situation, and making me feel a lot better and a lot less embarrassed 😂

    Good reception staff but no communication from my doctor after making enconsults, not even to confirm it’s been received/looked into or when it should be resolved by.. leaving me to feel as though I’m being ignored and not taken seriously

    The eConsultation system automatically sends a receipt confirmation. The Practice aims to triage all eConsultations received by 4.00pm on the same day, and eConsultations received after 4.00pm are triaged the following day. We respond via the eConsultation system to confirm receipt as long as a valid email has been provided. Following triage by a clinician, patients are contacted by telephone or text to confirm the outcome either the same day or the following day dependant on the urgency. Please can you contact Sarah Dodds, Assistant Practice Manager, via email (lyndhurst.surgery@nhs.net) with further details of your experience in order that we can undertake an investigation.

    Wanted to say that I was surprised at how well this practice functions, how nice and professional everyone is. I wanted to say an especially big thank you to one of the nurses (who I cannot name due to the NHS Comments Policy) who is a lovely person and was extremely kind to my mum, who I accompanied for a routine cardiovascular screening. Highly recommend this practice to anyone.

    All doctors I have seen here have been helpful and thorough. However, reception staff are often rude and abrupt and refuse to help you book an appointment over the phone. Only force you to do a very long winded e consult which asks many irrelevant questions because there is no room to explain your situation with standardised questions.

    We would like to point out that use of the eConsultation system or a similar online system is now mandated within the GP Contract with NHS England. These comments are not consistent with the positive comments we receive as part of the monthly Friends and Family survey. Please can you contact Sarah Dodds, Assistant Practice Manager, to discuss this situation in more detail and we can then undertake a full investigation.

    I signed up to Lyndhurst Rd from my last surgery after not being able to see a doctor for over two years. I shall never look back. Lyndhurst Road Surgery's staff are all fast, efficient, on the ball, hard-working and informative. I am quite over-whelmed. No, as another review mentioned, the reception staff are not always sweet and kind when they are fantastically busy while having also to deal simultaneously with recalcitrant patients both on the phone and at the counter, but they are still ultra-efficient and attentive. Emails are always answered promptly, repeat prescriptions easily delivered. I had completely given up on all general practitioners in the United Kingdom after my last long-term and ongoing "A doctor? You're kidding! Don't you know there's a lockdown!" experience. At Lyndhurst Rd they do not hide behind Covid. I am still amazed. I was conditioned to believe that's what they all do. Lyndhurst Rd spend the taxpayer money they get on their patients, not on themselves.

    We all know times are tough in the NHS but while I cannot thank the doctors enough for their care and compassion you do have to get through admin to see them and that can be a unpleasant experience. The practice is keen enough to send you a text, to tell you off, for a missed appointment in difficult times. Might be more useful if they send reminder text first.

    Using e-consult with this practice is efficient and they respond very quickly. I sent at 8am had a call back by 8.40am with an apt the same day at 9.50 with an excellent response This is not my first experience of good practice. Thank you
