Went to visit the doctor and it’s the first time I’ve met her and what can I say she is fantastic. I didn’t see her for the reason I was meant to. But she dealt with me brilliantly and listened to my concerns and after years of battling different doctors to get up to date mris and to see the hospital she has done this for me without hestitation. I will definitely will see her again and thank you so so much

This relates to a consultation on the 22nd May. From the moment I rang the Lodge surgery practice in Chippenham for advice, I was treated with respect, professionalism, care & in a timely manner by all the staff that were subsequently involved prior to my admission to the Royal United Hospital.

On my visit yesterday 8/4/24 I received a excellent consultation with a young lady junior Doctor. She gave excellent explanation of blood tests results, she went on to giving me a full examination putting my mind at rest . Came to a conclusion and prescribed medical advice on how to take prescribed medicines and to be aware of any further symptoms. Very happy to return and ask for this particular Doctor if on duty. The service at Lodge surgery it first class .

Physio spotted potential blood clot. Called surgery, seen by doctor within the hour. Referred to Bath hospital for ultra sound scan which happened 3 hours later. Follow up call from doctor 3 hours after that. Flawless and prompt response to a possible medical emergency.

I had a surgical complication which was not obvious at the time, I was seen by a physicians associate and he knew something was not right although the symptoms didn’t indicate anything obvious. He went with his instincts and sent me into ruh where scans and tests showed sepsis, collapsing lungs and organs failing. I was transferred to southmead where I stayed for 9 weeks. If it wasn’t for him trusting his instincts I would not be here today. I have always had excellent service from all staff at the surgery and this time they have saved my life. Thank you so much

Having been asked to call the surgery back I spent 40 minutes holding on the line being told I was patient 1 in the queue. No one answered the call before I hung up at 5pm thinking the surgery must be closed. When I did get through the following day the receptionist couldn’t even find out why they had asked me to call them back! I asked what time the surgery had been open until the previous day and was told 6pm. For a company dealing with ill and/or vulnerable patients the service is terrible.

I telephoned the practice with a concern about a newly discovered lump. I received a telephone consultation less than an hour later, and was seen in person a further two hours later. The swift action was greatly appreciated. As a long term patient with the Lodge, I highly recommend them. Well done to the whole team!

We came for an appointment yesterday for my 16 year old daughter and I just want to say the service we received really was outstanding from start to finish, the team were so kind and thorough and to be able to have an ECG there and then and have it reviewed so quickly really put our minds at ease. We, as a family, have always had a really positive experience with Lodge surgery but I just wanted to take this opportunity to say thank you

I needed to contact Lodge Surgery and within 1.5 hours of my initial call I had both received a call back and was seen by a GP. The GP was very thorough, kind and reassuring, and arranged for follow on tests and booked in a call back to check in on me 14 days later. At a time when people are struggling to see a GP Lodge Surgery have managed to continue offering a great service to it's patients. Thank you!

My recent appointment was for a medication review with a practice nurse who went above and beyond to reassure and advise me, involving me in deciding what to do next. I have never had a negative experience with any of the surgery team.
