    I have good hearing, but find it extremely difficult to hear the receptionists behind the glass partition. There is a panel in the glass for talking through, but it doesn't help much. I still find it very difficult to hear when there is no other noise in the building, but add to it noise from the library (I thought libraries were supposed to be guiet?), announcements over the annoy, and adverts on the television (so loud they startle), and it becomes very frustrating. How on earth anyone with hearing difficulties can cope, I don't know. And there doesn't seem to be one of those systems for connecting your hearing aid either. This is a new building that will have cost us all a fortune to pay for, and it shouldn't be like this.

    I have been trying to get through to the receptionist for a few days. Whenever i call, despite being 1st in line, i am waiting for ridiculous times. The line also cuts off. Its just a waste of time trying to get through to this surgery, thats why people call out of hours or go to A&e

    Dear Patient, Apologies for the delay in responding. Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback. I am sorry to hear about your experience with the surgery and getting through on the telephone. We are continuously working to improve the waiting times on our telephone lines and this area of improvement is a practice priority for us. If you struggle to get through on the telephones for an appointment we also have the option to complete an online consultation form via our website. I appreciate this may not be everyone but it helps us to manage capacity on the phones and Online Consult forms receive a response the same day. I hope you have had a better experience if you have tried to contact the surgery since you posted this review.
