Dear patient, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to hear that your experience of our service on this occasion has fallen short of your expectations. Blood sample processing is handled externally and it is far from common place that it takes as long as you have stated. It would be really helpful if you could contact us directly to have a closer look into what you have raised; in order that we carry out a more effective investigation, better address the issues and where possible improve our service. If you would like for us to do so, please call us on 0161 226 7777 or email at gmicb-tr.limelight.feedback@nhs.net Kind regards, Shahin Saleh Practice Manager

Visited this practice this morning for blood tests, as a profoundly deaf person can only say the staff were extremely helpful and pleasant

Ages to get thru on phone. Old message relating to last winter. GP never calls back. Virtually impossible to get an appointment unless you're dying. So very unhelpful. I really need to move practice.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback. Sorry to read that your experience hasn’t met your expectations. I apologise for the phone lines being busy at peak times. As a means of better accommodating patient requests, all GP practices use web based consultation tools. We have recently changed ours to AccuRx. You can read more about it at https://bit.ly/AccuRx. In line with national guidance, our staff endeavour to care navigate all patient requests to the most suitable health care professional within two working days. Review titled Awful practice - avoid at all costs
Rated 1 star out of 5

Having waited multiple days on the askmygp messaging service I was initially referred to the local pharmacist. I called and said I want to see a doctor and they had to re-open the triage to wait another two days. I then had a telephone call that wasn't very helpful and when I provided the feedback on that they called me to question why I thought I hadn't received good service - it was very unprofessional. I have since tried booking an appointment by telephone and told I could wait two weeks for an appointment. Absolutely disgusting service and the waits are horrendous. If you're considering registering - don't! Go literally anywhere else.

Review titled Bad Telephone system & very unhelpful staff
Rated 1 star out of 5

Rang numerous time surgery between 8.00am - 10.00, after waiting nearly 40 mins, staff pick up the phone and inform me that they are too busy to help and I need to ring again the next day. Very discourteous, unhelpful and unprofessional staff. Pure waste of time waiting and to be informed I have to ring again tomorrow.

Review titled Terrible service
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Michelle - Posted on 13 February 2023
My son is very very poorly in a load of pain rang up at 8am for an appointment and they refused to see him apparently don't offer emergency appointments it's an absolute joke how can a drs surgery refuse to see a patient a child at that no wonder A & E are so busy. The "best" they can do is put a request in with the dr which will take a few days. My son needs an appointment now don't think they should even be called a doctor surgery now as you speak more to the admin staff then you ever do to a dr absolutely disgusting really don't care about there patients.

Dear Michelle, Thank you for sharing your feedback. Whilst I can acknowledge your frustration, I hope you can accept our apologies for this upsetting experience. I am unsure of your interaction on the 13th January 2023 in respect of booking an emergency appointment for your son , firstly I do hope that you have received an appointment for your son or alternatively some healthcare advise . Please allow me to advise of ways to access patients appointments. Our appointment booking platform via Ask My GP is accessible from 8am -10am Monday to Friday, providing we have not reached our capacity for the day the Ask My GP will remain on line. We no longer offer On The Day routine appointments , as most of our routine appointment are pre-booked in advance , we do offer same day Urgent or Emergency appointment these are triaged by a doctor and WHERE appropriate an appointment will be offered the same day contact. Patients and Services Users are still able to contact the Surgery via our patient lines on 0161 226 7777 to pre book routine appointments with our doctors or nurses , or patients can pop in to the health space to book in person . I hope this information is helpful ,please feel free to contact the surgery at brooksbar.enquiries@nhs.net for further information on how we manage patient appointments . Best Regards Marcia. Patient Services Manager.

Review titled Impossible to get an appointment
Rated 1 star out of 5

Rude reception staff. Gatekeeping appointments. They close the myGP way too early. When calling you have to listen to almost 6 minutes of recording before you’re allowed to join to not get an appointment.

Really lack of understanding and knowledge! Unable to inform people about their appointments! When it comes to a talk back they all are equipped tho! Do you guys even train these people? I don’t wanna talk to smarty pants when I’m in pain! Seriously making me upset every time when I have to call because I know that I’m gonna talk to these receptionist guys !Even your doctors not acting like these people!
