Pointless attending appointment that was asked for by the practise but the doctor had no clue as to why we were both there.

I find the online referral system very good. Very prompt replies and getting things sorted in a timely manor.

Too long winded and repetitive form. Despite the detail provided which linked to previous interventions all on my record I did not feel the triage process led to the most efficient and economic outcome. In other words I was put on a waiting list to see a GP but I need to see a hand specialist. Surely that means i am taking up a Drs appointment unnecessarily. Sorry if this comes across as negative, I know it's not serious compared to other conditions but my Von do option is painful and it makes ake my role as a carer for two adults more difficult.

I was seen the same day. The young lady doctor I saw was very thorough, kind and reassuring. I felt a lot happier about my skin condition after seeing her.

That despite telling the nurse about my stomach feeling swollen, it was ignored. I ended up in hospital with disdended bowels, infective colitis and bowel blockage

I was made to feel as if I made up the pain in my head due to my anxiety and was told that I’d just have to deal with the pain In my ear even if it lasted 3 weeks

It is so hard to get a simple Dr appointment now, you are screened with questions before even getting an appointment, why is it so difficult?

Dear Patient, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. All requests for a GP appointment are triaged by the duty doctor. This is to ensure that patients are seen by the most relevant person in a time scale that they deem appropriate. The appointments are triaged based on the answers to the questions given to the reception team so it is important that these are asked. If you would prefer not to discuss this with reception, we do also offer an econsult service that is triaged in the same way. Kind regards Sarah, Deputy Patient Services Manager

Didn’t get to see a doctor, had to take photos of my throat which was very difficult to itch having a jaw that doesn’t open very wide. I didn’t get given any other option other than to send a photo. I was then told I was too old to be getting tonsillitis! I was then told I would be issued a delayed prescription despite knowing my own body to know when I’m ill enough to need a prescription. The doctor would have seen on my history that I am not ill very often or bother the surgery when it is not required. Slightly disappointed to be treated like a patient that is on the phone every day bothering you for no reason. I only call when it’s urgent. Apologies for the rant but you asked so I’ve told you. Kind regards Vikki

After taking half an hour to complete econsult I was contacted by a receptionist who I don’t believe was the medically qualified person the econsult told me u needed. She told me to go to pharmacy. I know from past experience that I need an antibiotic. I am coughing all night and not sleeping. It is a productive cough but not coloured. I am just out of hospital - on 15th January - and weighed down by an extremely heavy surgical boot treating broken bone in my foot so my patience is very thin as life is miserable. Lime tree surgery offers a poor service in my view.
