    I wanted to leave a review following the excellent service we received. The receptionist was so helpful and went out of their way to ensure my child could get the prescription needed for antibiotics. The receptionist was kind and understanding, calling me back to check if we had managed to locate anywhere that stocked antibiotics and liaising with the GP to ensure the correct prescription was sent to the correct pharmacy. Without this support we would have really struggled to get the antibiotics yesterday. The receptionists kindness and help were really appreciated when we were feeling so upset and anxious. I also know the surgery was extremely busy which must have been very difficult for all staff working there.

    Today I have tried to ring in and was in a que of 20 I have also tried to use the online tool but it was closed .I got someone to take me down to try and get it this was just before 5:00pm and I got told they were full and not seeing any one else. I got told I had to wait till Monday when my chest is hurting when I caugh am not happy about this !!!!

    Dear Miss Hall, Thank you for taking time to give us your feedback. We are sorry to hear of your experience last week and understand your frustration. Currently we are experiencing a very high demand with the winter season upon us. Our Clinicians are working tirelessly to see as many patients both face to face and with telephone consultations as they possibly can. However, we too have staff sickness and that together with the National shortage of GPs, is proving challenging for us. Therefore, in the best interests of our Clinicians and patients safety, we felt it necessary to request the help of the 111 service and close down our appointments. We know this is not an ideal situation but all things considered, this was our only option. We apologise that you were not told to contact 111 as that was our process and hope you have now been seen. -Larwood Surgery

    This is the third month that a repeat prescription has not been sent to the chemist and I have had to go into my local surgery to see why a prescription has not been sent to the chemist and all i get is that i will sort it out but it never happens. Why they get these awards for the best surgery i don't it is not for being good at there job
