    Besides covid times were appointments had to be postponed, I have not had an issue with lakeside surgery. I always get a call back, if I call for appointments. In my experience noone has ever been rude to me or discautious, they simply did their job. I can't ask for more than that. When i speak to the DR's, i feel like they have listened to my concerns, I don't feel hurried. I also appreciated how the doctor was thorough last month and today when it came to new medication I was about to be prescribed. The surgery is clean and in a great location. You go in, you get your treatment and you get out. (Well it's not a hotel).

    The Dr who has been looking after me recently has went above and beyond sorting me out still trying to get stable but with this Dr's help I'm confident I will get there. High blood pressure. He has called a few times checking up on medication and reading regular. Thank you.

    A doctor reviewed my routine blood tests, identified several health issues and rang me. During our conversation he referred me to specialist teams and followed up with a phone call to me the following week confirming actions and outcomes. Excellent service provided.

    Did take 2 weeks to get appointment but overall 6 weeks due to not knowing doctors can make appointments via a call consolation, was treated brilliantly by the doctor he gave great and informative information and has referred me but insisted that I follow up if what he says doesn't happen, I would like to see the old pre covid way of being able to book in to see a GP please

    Called to the practice at 7.59am and was already in the queue of more than 60s. How is that possible? Finally got through and no appointments left, asked for next day or even next face-to-face appointments, the receptionist said no face-to-face appointments left. If your symptoms get worsen, go to see urgent care. We've been there 4 times, and they all say to see GP for a treatment plan. To get GP appointment is something impossible, the receptionist tried to play like she can't hear me, or couldn't find the patient in the system. After multiple tries the receptionist offered only telephone appointment saying no any face-to -face appointments available. Telephone appointment has not been accepted, and I insisted to look for first face-to-face appointment, which was found later on same week. It's very frustrating the receptionist make a decision if you need to see a doctor or not, knowing your symptoms better than yourself. She was talking to me unprofessional, and completely not acceptable and trying to hide the appointments.

    I had my annual prescription review at the Forrestgate practice and it was a very good experience. I was seen quickly and the Doctor was very helpful. I felt I wasn’t rushed and he answered my questions.

    I've found Lakeside to be great. My husband arranged for a phone appointment as his surgery wound wasn't as good as it should be. He was asked to send a picture of it, which he did and received a phone call literally 5 minutes later, answered a few questions and was prescribed antibiotics there and then. A prescription was sent straight to a chemist and he had the tablets in his hands within an hour. Much easier than having a face to face appointment and it meant more people could be seen who needed to be. We found it very efficient.
