    Queue for a long time to see a doctor and not all that user friendly if you are seriously ill. The actual appointment was fine in as far it met expectations.

    I was worried about not getting my prescription as promised but this time it all went smoothly. Last time I waited 3 weeks for my medication and had horrendous withdrawal symptoms. But once you’ve on the system it seems to be ok

Both the surgery and other pharmacies are experiencing issues with national supply chain for medication.     I went to see the doctor on Friday 3rd may 2024 cause I had a few problems and could never get appointment .we waited til 3.10 to be seen and I told him I had 3 questions for him and told him I can’t seem to get appointment x he then turned round wasn’t interested and said wats the worst I said hip so he said you will need to make 2 more appointments for the other issues I have got . He didn’t even let me explain I have a sore on my foot and wanted to know if it was infected . I also didn’t understand him well enough so it was a good job my daughter in law was there to help x I’m sorry I felt rather sad that he couldn’t see my other things (as it’s a job to get an appointment) I left deflated really x wasn’t happy

    I was presenting with symptoms that, whilst causing me anxiety and discomfort, the Nurse Practitioner talked me through the situation and proposed pathway to having the symptoms analysed by way of a colonoscopy. This was arranged speedily and the procedure was carried out within 12 days of the consultation. I had subsequent correspondence with the Nurse Practitioner and on each occasion the responses were prompt and helpful. I could not praise the Nurse Practitioner highly enough.

    Helpful GP appointment the Doctor listened and acted upon my symptoms. The appointment system leaves much to be desired. The app needs checking regularly to ensure it is working correctly, I reported its malfunction to the receptionists and was told it was working, it clearly was not as I and others agreed that they had tried unsuccessfully to log on. A simple check would help. As I was in the surgery I tried to make an appointment for 2 weeks time and was not allowed, I was told to ring up instead another day as their quota had been reached. I don't want to wait on the end of a phone line for 1 hour to likely be turned away.

    Having previously been unimpressed with the surgery and read about the cqc review process in the local paper I was surprised and delighted by the treatment by the desk staff and the gp who was knowledgeable about my personal history and took time to help come to a resolution of my issue. Very pleased with the level of care that I received.

    This was a phone appointment with a doctor about a repeat prescription. The call was great and the drugs were recommenced. However, it had taken 3 weeks to get to this stage as face to face discussions at the surgery pharmacy, online requests etc were all "dismissed" with no update to me, or any attempt to contact me. I made 4 attempts to request this drug, it was an uphill battle. Can't fault the quality of care once I get to speak to doctors or nurses, its just the barriers to access that cause great stress, huge delays, and leave you feeling uncared for.
