    Doctor I saw was understanding and gave me good advice and has book an appointment to see a physiotherapist for the next day unable to book me in today they where fully booked

    I presumed I had Labyrinthitis and had been taking medication for a month with no effect. I saw Dr specialises in ENT. He soon diagnosed my problem and after a series of manoeuvres helped to alleviate my dizziness. I can’t stress enough how grateful I am for his specialisation and hope this review will help others in the future.

    What a breath of fresh air Dr Elgerray is!! I don't visit my GP very often and am not on any other meds but I felt this GP is worthy of a review. Everything you need from a GP appointment, to be listened to, was calm, professional, helpful, offered advice, asked my opinion. For the extra 5 minutes given to me initially this probably saved myself and the NHS so much time and money. I was sorted on my 1st appointment with the correct medication. thinking this was going to be a battle as it is peri menopause, it really wasn't. I am so much better from day one- long may it continue. Keep up the great work Dr Elgerray.

    This is one of the best practice I have ever been to. All the staff are so caring and friendly. Had an appointment today with one of the doctors. He’s was so caring and put me at ease. I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The reception staff were as always welcoming and friendly. Very helpful in booking my next appointment. It’s so lovely to find such a lovely helpful and friendly doctor surgery

    I rang for an appointment this morning ( non urgent,but important to me). As ever, the receptionist was happy and helpful. She explained the " new system " where surgeries in the area make use of " spare" appointments and send patients to other sites if feasible. Brilliant idea!! I'm happily booked in. So, a huge thank you to Kirkby Primary Care and especially the receptionist team

    Rang up 2wks ago for a prescription that I only have as I need it the receptionist told me I haven't had this since December last Yr 2022 . I suffer from brain fog and could remember when I had it but I knew I had it this year 2023.... so as I couldn't remember I had to make a appointment for 21st December this year this has left me in pain .... my daughter found the box and low and behold I had it this year in July 2023 .... iv just rang and it was the same receptionist that got it wrong before . so I explained all the above telling her the date ..... she couldn't find it . I read her the name on the box describing it and she was trying to say that she had found it but worded it differently at this stage I just said "look its the same thing . She eventually said she will order it ...... anxiety and stress .

  7. Review titled Over a month for an appointment

    I’ve just called up to book an appointment to see a GP face to face and was told that the next available appointment is over a month away and that would only be a phone call over the phone. Absolute disgrace ! Avoid at all cost ! I think this practice should be taken into special measures. They only have two gps working there on any given day. The death of the NHS as we know it.

    Tried to make an appointment to see a doctor today, started at 8 am this morning. Took me nearly 10 minutes to even get in the queue to have my call answered. Was then no 20 in the queue. 15 minutes later got to number 1 to be told by the receptionist that all the appointments for today had been taken and to phone again tomorrow at 8 am. No doubt I will try tomorrow at 8 am and get the same result.
