I have spent ages to actually see someone face to face (9 months in total), on line forms, uncomfortable telephone consultation during my work hours when I did clearly specify when I am able to speak. Blood tests, more on line forms, endless trying. When I finally did see a doctor I felt like there was no time for me, my appointment already late, but I waited patiently. When I tried to explain my problems I was directly told "There's no time for this today, we just focus on 1 issue" I felt so embarrassed and "brushed off" as I do believe my symptoms are connected. I wasn't taken seriously. I do not want to go for my "follow up consultation". I don't go to the doctor often, this was my first visit since Covid as I really don't want to waste anyone time, especially doctors. I have lost the trust in the surgery and I feel so let down. After a lot of discussions with my husband I went to see a private doctor and finally I am felling better and healthier. I am very worried if I will need to use the surgery again, I guess I will just have to try to register somewhere else or pray not to need any help in the future. Thank you

Staff are thorough and caring and have offered support through my diagnosis what would otherwise have been a daunting time for me. Cannot praise them highly enough. Today the doctor took time to explain what would happen next.

I calked the surgery re concerns and worries about my dad. It’s a difficult situation and the lady I spoke to couldn’t have done more to help me. She was an absolute star, so kind, helpful and understanding. Thank you 🙏

Twice this year all ready, I have needed to ring for help from the surgery and both times told to do the online form, and both times I had tried but was too ill to do it, but the response was 'but you can't have an appointment without it!'. I had to argue to get the receptionist to bypass this and do the form over the phone, which obviously took up valuable time, and eventually resulted in me being asked to go in within half hour! Now triage forms may work in some circumstances, but this is putting people off trying to contact doctors when they really need them! As for trying to see a doctor, it seems the nurse practitioner is the substitute now for the illusive doctors. The GP surgery is not fit for purpose now and the customer service and care side seems to have disappeared! It's a shame because I really liked it here before, but now I'll have to think about registering elsewhere if things don't improve!

Cannot thank them enough. I was offered an emergency appointment with a GP this morning, the nurse fitted me in for an urgent blood test within half an hour while the doctor was able to speak to Torbay hospital. Within an hour I was sent to hospital to undergo more tests. The Gp followed up with 2 phone calls while I was at the hospital to check how I was. They were so thorough and helpful. I have been with this practice for 34 years and once again they have gone above and beyond to help. A massive thank you to the receptionist, the nurse and the GP. Amazing practice.

I am recent resident of Ipplepen, I have been given username and password. I have today and tried to use them to order repeat prescription, but totally failed?

I have had a few appointments recently for various reasons and my concerns have been listened to and I have felt supported. I had an excellent appointment today where the doctor really listened to my problems and concerns and worked with me to find a treatment that I was happy with whilst ruling out any other serious conditions. He also went above and beyond to answer the many other questions I had and booked in follow up appointments.

Had an appointment for my son and the GP that we saw thought it was necessary to make remarks about my medical problem throughout the appointment, this was unnecessary and in my opinion rude and it made me feel like I was being tested on my ability as a mum and made me uncomfortable for further visits

I had to see a doctor recently for my son and I was booked in with a registrar who went above and beyond my son is non verbal and he was completely at ease with her. She was extremely through throughout! I then had to have a call regarding my daughters blood result and I had the same doctor. She explained everything to me with great detail and discussed options and a plan with me. I cannot praise her enough. I’ve always had a good experience at this practice but with was exceptional.
